It is a beautiful motorcycle, and after some little modifications it looks almost perfect.(shorty exhaust that gives the perfect roar, it feels like flying a Spitfire, new Ness handle bar for the relaxed ride, and deletion/relocation of rear plate and lights . Gorgeous!!! The engine is very nice and put a smile on your face. However do not expect the same strength like a Ducati, Triumph or Japanese bike. The engine likes to rev. ! Enjoy the music (with a third party exhaust only). The center of gravity is very low, and you will scratch your bike if you have an aggressive ride. However it makes its handling very easy which is great in the city. However some big issues with the rear suspension that does not support someone over 200 lbs or an additional passenger. The rear tire would touch the rear bumper and destroy the rear electric harness that is not protected (poor design). The overall electric system is poorly designed and poorly installed. A shame ! Front brake feels like from the 70s, it is very poor. Rear suspension will make your butt in pain, as you will be feeling all the holes on the road.

It's very reliable and powerful! I loved it. I thought it was time to hang up the helmet! I sold it last spring and was so lost without it - a big mistake!! I'm picking up my 2012 X-Country Thursday. It's beautiful and has more accessories than my 2011. I can't wait to see the Grand Canyon with this one!! This might just be the last bike I ever own. that's up to Victory!!!!

I only wish I could ride more. The salesperson at the dealership is great and he knows his stuff. If you are looking for a great bike do yourself a favor and test ride a Victory - they are the best thing out there.

I purchased my Cross Country sunset red and silver in April of 2013. It was a showroom left over. Before this, I owned a Suzuki Volusia, Yamaha Royal Star and Roadstar. First the negatives. The bars are a little too far forward for my 5' 8" height but not bad. The motor, due to being overhead cam, makes a ticking noise that if you're not used to, it can be a little worriesome and anoying. that's especially if you're parked next to your buddies who ride Harley's and have the need to pick on small details so they feel superior - Ha. Wind buffeting is an issue with this bike so a windshield change and lowers are a must aftermarkert item. The positive! This bike is by far the best riding bike I've ever owned. It's well balanced and turns on a dime. So far no mechanical issues. It has plenty of power and is very smooth on the road. It has a nice radio but you must purchase the cable for the MP3 player as an aftermarkert item. This should have come with the bike in my opinion. Overall, I am very satified with this bike and encourage everyone to test drive a Victory soon - especially you Harley riders. You no longer have the market on "American Made"! It's very close to the perfect bike but as they say - nothing's perfect. Happy riding all.

It has power when you need it, comfort, great handling and smooth ride (even at 90 mph. with a ticket). It has enough to carry 2 up and gear, enough amps for 2 up, heated clothes (all pieces and turned on, momma wants to ride at 40 - that never happened before). I cannot say enough. When I retire I am going to go sell Victorys. It's just a great ride and if you test one, you will buy it. I love my bike. It has brought back a joy that I didn't know I had missed or lost. Ride Safe.

Down to the dealership I went and there sat the last bike I may ever buy, a 2012 Red Cross Roads. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a bike as much as I do my Cross Roads. To say it is fun to ride is an understatement. Every time I ride I think, I can't believe how nice this bike is. Power and agility, you name it, it's got it. If you are thinking about a bike purchase give the Victory brand a look and keep on riding. God bless.

I've had 4-HD's in the past, but this one has such great lines. I get a lot of looks on bike runs and people always are commenting on the size of the jugs. The bike was delivered as promised - very clean, no issues.

It made a big difference knocking off the wind blast. I have on order a passenger seat and rear peg kit (keep's the wife happy). One of the nice things is that I will not see another one on every corner. So far, great bike, no problems at all.

After looking and trying different bikes over the last year, I finally made my choice. The 2012 Victory Cross Country was my choice. I looked very hard between a Kawasaki Vaquero and the Victory Cross Country. There were two things about the Cross Country that stood out above the Vaquero. The weight/center of gravity of the Victory makes the bike feel lighter than it really is. It is very easy to handle. The second thing that stood out is how well the Cross Country 'tracks' around the corners. I am amazed at how easy the bike turns exactly when and where I want it to turn. The power is smooth and strong, especially in the 50-80 mph. range. She can really get up and go! The bike has very sharp lines, with the fit and finish being very good. The instrument panel is set up very well with all the important info easy to read and the lighting very pleasing while riding in the dark. The only negative I have found is the wind buffeting that comes up from under the fairing, but I will be getting the lower deflectors installed when I start my upgrades. I feel I have found the bike I will really enjoy for the next 10 years.
