I could never get past some of its looks but the 8-ball took care of all that. Once you get on this thing, you will not want to get off. It is comfortable and handles like a dream. It leaves everyone in the dust on the Blue Ridge twistys.

It's certainly different from my Kawa VN2000 (much less power) but much better in handling and the weight is less. So far so good. The clutch lever is stiff and I had to adjust it to fit my hand grip. This makes it hit the "mode button" every time I depress it. Victory should look at this little issue. I've partially fixed the problem with a rubber button stick on the clutch lever. For the rest OK. I love the radio and iPod adaptor and also the cruise control. There should be more of these bikes on the road in Quebec, and finally, I don't have to dress like a pirate to drive it (sorry HD driver!!!).

I have 5,200 miles on my bike. Let's start with reliability. I had the main circuit breaker replaced after 2,000 miles. The bike would stall at times at speed and when idling. It still stalls once in a while at idle. It's not very comforting at times. Performance, overall it's a very strong pulling bike all the way through the gears and 6th gear at speed really eases the rpms. on the motor. I had stage 1 mapping, after market muffler and high flow air filter installed. It had some backfiring on upshift and downshifting. I then added a fuel controller which eliminated most of that problem. The bike dyno'd at 89 hp. and 104 tq. Only reason I dyno'd was to tune the fuel controller. It's getting mid 40's on gas mileage. Comfort is very good. I'm 6'3" and have plenty of leg room to stretch out. You can adjust the air in the rear shock for 1 or 2 up riding. I added highway pegs and a gel seat pad. The stock seat needed a little help. The bike handles very well in turns and has plenty of clearance. The brakes work very well and stops it with no sloppiness. I have a tall windshield and still get some buffeting at higher speeds. The quality needs an upgrade. Some plastic parts need to be metal like fork covers, and cheese-looking wedges. There are some after market options but compared to other major brands they are expensive and limited. I would say that for what you get with Cross Roads it is priced well but resale and trade value are horrible. But I bought it to ride not as an investment. Overall, it's a pretty good bike.

I have a 2011 XC. I really like this bike, it has all the power I need. It handles very well. I don't have a buffering problem like some people talk about, but I do have the large windsheld. One thing I really love is that I am not shifting all the time the placement of the gears is perfect. Once going, this bike is as nimble as my old 650-750 British Bikes. The seat is my only problem with the bike. It is not as comfortable as some. I have gone 300 miles without a problem but was getting tired in the butt. The seat and the short shift and brake toe pegs are the only things that I will change. Now I will add a few items to the bike.

Love The Bike, No RegretsWith the weather finally getting better, riding time is back. I walked into the dealer and left with a 2011 Victory Cross Country. I went from a 750 Honda Ace Classic to the Victory. Comfort, power and looks are huge differences. The big one was comfort for the passenger. Cushy seat and huge supporting back rest are A++++ for my wife. The heavier suspension is greatly forgiving on our pot hole laden roads, giving a ride of firmness but very smooth. The audio system is super, very well balanced and centered for a big bike. The power is awesome with lots of get up and go for passing or just getting the wind in your face. My first big ride is coming up the end of May - the "Ride for Dad" supporting the fight for prostate cancer. I love the bike, no regrets to purchasing it.

I have been wanting a touring bike for years. I wanted a Gold Wing but my legs were too short or the bike was too tall. I looked at HD's but I was not impressed with the stock power to get out of trouble. Then came the 2008 Vision Tour. After much reflection, I decided to buy it. It's an awesome bike. It's huge but rides like a much smaller bike. It has outstanding balance, even at slow speeds. There is plenty of get up and go when needed. The Visions are definitely the best, most luxurious touring bike on the road today. I get great dealer support and I am looking forward to many years of exquisite riding experiences.

My wife who had no clue until we walked in the dealership turned to me and said, "I hope you brought the check book!" The great thing is, it drives, handles and cruises just as good as it looks. I drive it everyday possible just short of rain.
