This is only the second new bike I ever bought. The first my ex got in the divorce. I live in the mountains and have nothing but curves from home to work. I wear out my side walls first! I have some small rattles in the trunks and am still working on them. I love the tip overs. I have put most of the goodies on that you can. I think I will still add a backrest. I have debated long about one. I average over 11k a year and have been from Washington to Florida.

I love the comfort, power, reliability and features of this bike. I added the 8-Ball lower seat which really helps as I have a short inseam. I have ridden most of the competitors' bikes and no way do they stay in the same league as this great Tourer. Again, I would never go to any other brand as this bike has it all.

I picked her up in Portland in April, 2011. I have put on over 7,000 comfortable miles including a 2,000 mile trip up the Oregon and Washington coast and over the Northern Cascades Highway through a 110-mile downpour. It was flawless and held the road well. Even my Harley partners admire this bike - never fatigued after 300 to 400-mile days. I'm ready for another trip. It has great storage and an excellent audio I-Pod system. I wish the I-Pod was easier to disconnect from the R trunk. I had an issue with it cutting out several times and stalling. I found out it was from excess throttle blipping. Since I modified my throttle style, it has had no reoccurred.

I love my 2011 XC. I took advantage of the $1,000 military discount, thank you Polaris/Victory. Here are a couple things I like, performance is great. I added the Ness Big Honker exhaust system, K&N high flow air filter and lock and ride trunk. I'm really happy with the additions. There are a couple things I don't like. The stock windshield is horrible, which seems to be a very common problem with this bike. It looks like I'll be spending extra money on a taller windshield. As a person that wears glasses, the wind shakes my head so hard, that it makes reading highway signs difficult! I find the stock handgrips very uncomfortable after about 20 miles of riding. On the plus side, everyone that has seen the bike loves the looks. I've talked to several strangers about all the features and have pointed them toward my local dealership. My son nicknamed the bike "Black Beauty". I look forward to lots of years riding. My other comment - There needs to be more Victory gear and dealers! This bike is catching on.

This is a great bike for those who dare to be different. I have driven the other American made bike for 40 years. I am 57 years old and this is the smoothest big cruiser I have ever ridden. I felt absolutely great on my 25-mile ride home from the dealership. I was amazed at how quickly I accelerated to 80 mph. on the expressway. I backed off and set the cruise at 72 in 6th gear. It was hard to put this baby away for the night. I put 211 miles on the first two days. It rained hard today so it had to stay in the barn. I love this big futuristic cruiser.

I have been riding for nearly 40 years now. I have owned six different brands of motorcycles over the years, including the Japanese Big Four, Harley-Davidson and Victory. The first Victory that I purchased was a 2002 V92C Classic. A bike that I enjoyed and grew to love. In 2004, I had to get the Harley-Davidson mystique out of my system. I bought a new Road King. There truly is something about owning and riding a Harley that I can only describe as pride. I really loved that bike. It did have it's issues and wasn't always completely reliable, but it was still a nice bike to own. I now own a Victory Kingpin that I could not be any happier with. For me, it has it all. It's beautiful to look at, powerful, with gobs of torque and comfortable. It has excellent handling and smooth suspension (much better than the V92C I had). It is absolutely, dead reliable. It's very customizable compared to the older Victory bikes, that left you with very few options to upgrade. I'm not going to bash Harley-Davidson motorcycles. I was a proud owner myself. However, today's Victory models are just flat out superior machines to the old tech Harleys of today. The Victory Kingpin stands on its own merit. It is just a great bike. American made or not. I say; long live the Kingpin!

Pro's: Faster, better handling, vast lockable storage, better economy (about 15-20% compared to an '09 Street Glide), more comfort with stock seat, and on and on. Con's: Fewer options and they're very overpriced in comparison to any manufacturer. I had the radio kick out on me once for about three seconds when the bike was very wet. It's the only electrical issue I've seen. Cheers.
