Five years ago, my R1 was stolen, then I rode around on a DR650 until I crashed that one and needed to get off the highway. So I got a Honda Elite 110. Now I'm styling around San Francisco, still hopping on and off any sidewalk I please and never having to carry my gear due to the amazingly large under seat storage. It stores my full-face helmet, gloves and large Kevlar jacket with ease. When wearing the gear it takes my laptop bag and all kinds of other goodies. The main thing is how incredibly free and happy I get when I sit on that little Red Danger! It's one of the most fun vehicles I've ever owned. At 1,000 miles, this scoot has always just given me its best at over 40 mph. (I'm still a little scared of speed after my crash - but it has gone 50 mph. for me) and it gives an amazing 80 mpg. I've gotten 100 mpg. once for the entire tank when I stayed at or below 35 mph. Take THAT high gas prices! It sits amazingly comfortably, it's balanced, so handling and putting it on the stand is so easy. Everything is Honda Perfect on this scoot, and before I forget, I left 150's in the dust more than once! This scoot does not care that it's only marked 110cc, it rides like a much stronger engine. Well done Honda!

The only reason I don't have more miles on it is because I was at sea for four months during the summer. I'd recommend the Sabre and this dealership to anyone.

I purchased my 2011 Honda Shadow Phantom in July, 2011 and have ridden it as much as I possibly can. I have been looking at the Honda Shadows for many years and was hooked on the Phantom from the first time I saw it online. It handles great and has a very smooth ride. I love the sound of them and the seat height is an additional plus for me. We have had lots of looks and compliments on them and love showing them off. I will be keeping it until it gives out or me, whichever comes first. My husband and I both have the Phantom and we enjoy riding together. The dealership that we purchased them from was the best. They have been great and have helped us out with any assistance or question that we have had. We recommend the bikes as well as the dealership that we purchased them at. Thanks to Honda for creating the bike for us.

I have the 2010 NT700VA, with ABS brakes. As a midweight touring bike, the NT really has no competition. In my opinion, it offers good value for the buck. I have toured on this bike, and I really like it. (I did get the large pannier covers from a British dealer--they aren't sold in the US). I have the accessory top box, which works great, and the Honda soft bags for the panniers. The Honda heated grips are fine. A sport bike it is not, but it does have more than adequate power on the superslab. The suspension is very basic. The transmission is great, but it could use a sixth gear. I would rate the brakes as a "B". This bike is very comfortable and smooth, but its gets a little buzzy around 70+ mph. Nothing terrible, however. I would say this is too big of a bike for a real beginner. For solo touring or commuting, it is a great bike. Styling is a matter of taste--some people like the looks of this bike, and some don't.

I would recommend without reservation to anyone looking for an economical alternative to getting around town.

GIVI makes a bigger one, but so far the Honda case has been big enough. It will hold my full helmet or my riding jacket just fine. This scooter makes running errands fun!

This bike is super smooth and comfortable, performs well and has decent ground clearance in turns. The navi, cb, and audio work seemlessly together for simpler operation than you might think. The switch housings put most of the controls at your fingertips. Stock lighting is more than enough as far as I am concerned. Air management is great with the help of airwings or similar. The aerodynamics are very stable at speed. Handling is so light and nimble when the bike is moving that you forget how much it weighs, however it will remind you at parking lot speeds, (a small price to pay for everything else the bike offers). The engine is in a class by itself with it's smoothness and the quality of its power delivery. The engine coupled with the handling characteristics combine for a superior riding experience.

The fuel injection makes starting a breeze and the engine never misses a beat. The gas mileage is great for a 150. I got 80 mpg. on my first tank. The best part about this is that it will maintain 55-60 mph. if you need to get on the highway, even if you are going uphill! On a flat road I got very close to 70 mph. The only negative I can say is there is almost no storage under the seat and the seat is contoured so you can wiggle back for more leg room.

This machine has so much power. I haven't been able to use it - or really come close. Other than that, it's light and nimble and really shines in medium speed sweepers; i.e., curves in the legal 35-50 mph. range. In those curves, it is easy to lean it all the way over to the edge of the rear tire if there is enough curve. Even then it feels planted. When it gets down to the 10-15 mph. hair pins, there is too much bike to get fast but it hustles right around them unless you give it too much gas. Then it gets choppy with brake and gas. I've set the suspension to a pretty soft setting and it works really well given some of the bad roads you run into along the Front Range here in Colorado; lots of holes and sharp bumps. If you want to cruise around, it's an easy bike to ride. It has a lot of low end and mid-range grunt. Compared to my other bike, an '02 RC51, this feels like a bicycle. Once leaned over and on track, they feel similar. Getting slowed down, this bike is much easier. Picking it back up, the RC is much smoother being less powerful, heavier and much slower. With this bike I think I could get bucked off if I wasn't careful with the gas. This bike would be really, really fun on a track (duh! what bike wouldn't). The body work is an origami special. You have to be very patient when taking the plastic apart. If you are it will go right back together. But working with it I am afraid it is going to break. Fit and finish are typical Honda; rich paint, everything fits as it should, I doubt I can break the motor. When you work the engine it fires right up to 225 degrees. As soon as you back off the temperature drops right back to 180. When the motor hits about 4k, it really starts to growl; about 8500 you better be hanging on-tight! I've changed the oil twice now and it's easy. I doubt you would be disappointed with any of the new liter bikes. I know I'm not with this one. The only "bad" mark is for comfort and it's a race rep. Its OK for a race rep. I like the looks too; a really gorgeous bike.
