This scooter rules. However on long rides, it isn't the most comfortable thing in the world. I get a lot of looks while riding this bike because it looks like nothing else out there! The dealership in Idaho Falls is a great dealer and they provide great customer service on my Ruckus. I'm glad they talked me into buying this over a Metropolitan! Show less

I purchased a new 2009 GL-1800 Gold Wing with comfort and audio package in September, 2010 from a dealership in Nebraska. I got a nice trade-in for my 2010 Honda 1300 Interstate and trailered the new Gold Wing back to my home in Colorado the same day. I am 68 years old and found the Gold Wing very easy to ride and control, even after almost 5,000 miles in every type of weather. Show less

This bike has been one of the most reliable bikes that I've had in 11 years. I started off with the XR50R when I was five and worked my way up. I have had five bikes since then and this CRF150F has been the best. I really like the quick and easy start. I have had no trouble at all with it. The best bike I have had is from Honda. I have had all Hondas by the way. Show less

It is a great overall bike, nice tourer and commuter - very sharp, black with snake skin decals. It's smooth and has enough power for me. This is my fourth bike in 12 years of riding. I'm comfortable in the city and the highway. I get lots of positive comments at red lights about this bike. Show less

I just got back into riding after about two years. I looked at a lot of bikes, new and used. I bought this 2009 brand new with zero miles. I took it on a 100-mile ride this weekend, and it was just awesome. The ride had a lot of country roads, with lots of twists and turns, exactly what I needed to get comfortable with this bike. It runs great, handles great. This is a keeper! Show less

It's just a great all-around bike. I commute to work 10 miles each way. It's real easy to handle on the city streets. while getting an average of 53 mpg. On the weekends I have taken several day trips of 200+ miles. Combine this versatility with that bullet proof reputation of a Honda, and I know I've got a bike that will keep me happy for years to come. Show less

It doesn't matter, really, how you wish to categorize the VTX 1300: it has plenty of power and speed, and good low-to-mid-range torque and maneuverability. You don't really 'throw it around but it responds crisply to inputs and the long body still glides through curves and turns with relative ease. It's the perfect size for a mid-sized rider but might be a bit cramped for the long-legged -- even with highway pegs on an optional engine bar. The T (for Tourer) comes stock with a front-fender badge and Honda's most popular VTX add-ons -- leather saddlebags a windshield and passenger backrest. All add comfort and/or utility but the bags don't hold much and don't lock and Honda doesn't retail replacement windshield parts (available elsewhere however). Fuel mileage is ordinary -- circa 40-45 mpg. -- and both the electronic speedometer and odometer overstate (and not necessarily by the same amount). I wish there was a fuel gauge. Stock seat is adequate unless you do a lot of multi-hour long-distance riding (as for me I'm fine with a break every 60-75 minutes or so anyway; so the seat works fine). Lots of chrome upgrades and parts are available if you're into that sort of thing but it's an eye-catching machine even without customization. Show less

I've had my bike for four years now and it still rides like the first day. Although there's only 3,500 miles on it, I take very good care of it and it's garage kept. The only complaint I have is regarding the vibration emitting from the metal shroud on the gas tank. Oh, and be careful cornering as it sits very low. It's very comfortable, I'd recommend this bike in a heartbeat. Show less

Following 28 years since my last ride, the Shadow Spirit is the perfect choice for me. It is a solid, controllable and affordable bike. The guys at the dealership were patient with my pursuit of the ideal ride for me. They could not have been more accommodating and the deal was outstanding. I am coming off several BMW's, so I looked for something comfy and reliable. The VTX 1300C (I paid $5900 for a new bike last fall) was being given away by dealers, and I could not pass up this deal. Fit and finish are great and the stock exhaust has enough rumble to please me and neighbors. The ride is comfortable, although stock seat will be replaced by Ultimate Lo-rider soon. My only complaint is cold weather starting, as the bike runs lean. It needs a few extra minutes in the morning to warm up. Show less
