I bought an '08 a little over a year ago. I wanted the '08 because I wanted the blacked-out wheels, and there were major changes to the '09 other than cosmetic. After a few years of drooling and saving, I pulled the trigger and bought one. I have had this dream-bike for just over a year and have been incredibly happy with it. Performance-wise, it handles so well and is perfectly balanced. It has plenty of power and torque. Going 70 miles an hour feels no different than 45 or 50. One time in a touristy summer hot spot, I parked it alongside four Harley's. People looked at the bikes, but they stopped at mine. One guy took a picture; two others spent a few minutes walking around it. No disrespect to Harley's; my previous bike was an 883 Sporty. I know there is a certain "mystique" about Harley's. But in terms of value and looks, I'll choose Victory.

Just returned from a 16-day, 6700 mile trip on my 2008 Victory Vision Tour. I had no problems on the trip. I rode with three other riders. Two were on Gold Wings, and the other was riding a new H-D Ultra. I had no problems with comfort on the Vision other than repositioning my butt every now and then. The other guys had to use pads on their seats. When we stopped for fuel, my Vision always took less fuel to fill. I noticed that my Vision (with Stage One exhaust) sounded much healthier than the new Harley without the vibration. The Gold-Wings sounded like economy cars. Just get the noise fixed in the tranny (it's ridiculous)! I just wanted to add that people come up and take pictures of my Vision with their cell phones a lot. If you want a bike that draws a lot of attention, get a Victory Vision.

If you can find a leftover year model, you will save a lot of money. And it's worth it! It is faster than any Harley I'e ever ridden and looks a lot better than those old dinosaurs. I am definitely a Victory fan. Also, it's still made in the USA...

When I bought my 2010 Vegas I bought it with the feeling that I was getting more for my buck than if I would have gone with a Harley. I hit that nail square on the head. I love my bike and I think that I have converted a few long time harley riders. When I was looking at the Harleys, the sales people told me that when I buy a Harley, I can park in front of the bar. Two weeks after I bought my bike, I was at a poker run and saw the salesmen on the side of the road broke down. I stopped and said the reason I went with a Victory is so that I will make it to the bar.

THE OIL SENSOR HAD A SMALL LEAK BUT THE DEALERSHIP TOOK CARE OF IT UNDER WARRANTY. OTHERWISE, NO PROBLEMS. TONS OF POWER, LOOKS GREAT, GOOD QUALITY. THE SEAT IS JUST SO SO. I DID A LOT OF HOMEWORK ON THIS BIKE. SPENT THE BETTER PART OF 2 YEARS RESEARCHING THE VICTORY'S AND HARLEY'S. CAME CLOSE TO A HARLEY SEVERAL TIMES BUT IT WAS THE GREAT DEAL I GOT PLUS THE 5 YR WARRANTY THAT FINALLY DID IT. SO FAR I've BEEN REAL HAPPY. WILL UPDATE AGAIN LATER THIS SUMMER, AFTER STURGIS.

Once your ride begins, the Vision's over-all superior package wins your heart, looks not-withstanding. I've owned 12 motorcycles in the past 22 years. To date, the Victory Vision, in my opinion, is the best all around motorcycle I've owned and ridden.

Never rode before this bike, liked the American made tag and affordability coupled with bad a** looks. I live in Detroit area, found bike for sale in Toledo, had buddy (Harley owner) go with me to ride it back, "you're gonna like riding this bike," he says after we get it home. Turns heads no doubt, powerful, and reliable. Harley riders usually take a real long look when passing by. Highly recommend a Victory.

I bought a new 2008 Kingpin Tourer last Sept. In the first week I put 2500 Kms on the machine. On the morning after I bought the bike I experienced a failure of the speedometer. It started to flip up and down and then quit. As you can imagine I was not impressed. However I drove directly to the dealer who knew exactly what was wrong and they replaced the speed sensor on top of the tranny. 15 minutes and I was back on the road. The ride is fantastic especially when I ride 2 up. I have yet to see another bike in this color combo and I think it is beautiful. (black Cherry and silver with Gold scollops in the silver paint). The wife and I love it!
