After three months of riding our new 1300 with the Motor Trike kit, we are basically pleased with the Trike. We get lots of positive comments and questions about it. Since there are many around here in Nebraska, it is almost a novelty. The only problem is the customer service. There is none. No follow-up calls or any contact from the dealer. Even the MotorTrike factory has sent me to another dealer for work on our bike. If we did this all over, I would definitely go to the local Harley dealer and get a Harley Trike. Customer service there is absolutely awesome. Never again will I go back to this dealer. Not even for warranty work or service. We are driving 90 miles for all our work now.

I saw this on special for $7,500 and thought I'd take the plunge. Right from the start I was impressed with the handling of the VTX1300R. Although you can feel that it is a bigger bike, the handling is very much like the Aero750. The braking is a lot more responsive with the disc rear, and there seems to be a lot more throttle left when cruising at 70+mph. My average MPGs range from 43 to just over 50 in the first 416 miles of driving.

I just picked up my Shadow Spirit on Monday and I have fallen in love at first sight. This is by far the coolest looking stock, right out of the showroom bike I have ever seen. This is my first brand new motorcycle. I had a good experience with a used bike and a horrible experience with a used bike, so I thought I would take the USED out of the equation. A dealership advertised a brand new left over from 2008 for an unbelievable price. I went and saw it and fell head over heels. It fits me like a glove. Nice acceleration, very good handling, a dream to ride. Get one of these if you can.

This one is a "keeper"! Test drove a H-D_VRod 1250. The VTX smokes it.

When I first started looking for a cruiser bike I was drawn to the VStar 650's but after getting on one of them I realized they were too small for me. I had a friend suggest the 750 Shadow but thought the same thing. After going to the dealership and taking one for a test drive I was amazed. It felt great!! I've put nearly 500 miles on it since getting it and there isn't a complaint I have about it. In a few years I know I'll be moving up to a larger bike for an increase in comfort on long road trips but wouldn't mind hanging on to this Shadow 750 forever. Great job by Honda! Great job by their sales people to get me in a bike I love!!

No doubt the 2009 R1 is a nice bike, but it was that pig size I couldn't deal with on track. The 1000RR is virtually fatigue free and the power! Whoa... it comes on SO SILKY smooth.... read more

The FI is spot on, which I couldn't say about the R1. I rode the R1 back to back with my 1000RR on track, the 1000RR was hands down easier to ride fast.

In the corners, through the ruts, over the jumps, or wide open, it doesn't matter. Honda has done a great job with this bike. Very light weight, great motor as always, and good suspension. From what I hear, the 2010's are even better so we'll see.
