I've had the bike for 2 years already and not a major problem yet. This is a nice looking Harley with the looks and lines of the older choppers with the Ape Hangers rake, forks and 21in 90 tire. The seat is one of the most comfortable Harley makes and is also reminicent of the old school chopper seats in style. Bike handles great with power to spare and corners excellent with the 200 rear tire. Not much chrome to add to this beauty. I placed the turn signals on the forks, some Vance Hines Big Radius Pipes and front axle spikes and that was it. What I love about this model is that you don't see one everytime you go out for a ride like you do the the sea of other softails like FatBoys etc. and touring bikes like the the Road Kings. You are styling in your and people are always glad to also see the change.

It's been almost 2000 miles and about 3 years after our first review of our new RKC. We have added many accessores to get the bike where we like it. The reliability has been great - no breakdowns or mechanical problems of any kind. The performance is good for pretty much a stock set up. We only added true duals from Vance & Hines, Dyno Jet Tuner, and a Screamin Eagle Stage I air box kit. Quality overall is up there. Comfort for us got the lowest rating this go round. After an hour or 50 miles we do need a rest break. Overall we gave it a four.

I really did love this bike. Great styling. I especially loved the 24.5 seat height. Easy to handle and very well balanced. I would especially suggest this bike for shorter men or women. I love having my feet flat on the ground. I wear a helmet and had some wind buffeting. The fork wind...

I love having my feet flat on the ground. I wear a helmet and had some wind buffeting. The fork wind deflectors and shorter windshield solved the problem. I had problems with the seat. Too hard for long distances. Handlebars also vibrated on the interstate. Installed the Snake and this really helped. Bike needed more power. This can be accomplished with the new air intake, pipes, and dyno. I suggest this. Lovely bike. I recommend it.

2 years into Harley EG Classic ownership and I still love the bike. Not much saddle time in in 2008 due to a summer of rainy weather but what time I did get was a pleasure. I don't care that 5th gear is noisy or that the engine gets hot. Once I hit 6th gear, nothing else matters. It doesn't get any...

I have had my 07 Ultra Classic for 21 months now and have put 30,000 miles on it. My wife and I ride together almost always (90% 0f the time). The purpose of this review is to allow others to know how we owners feel about this bike. I have been riding (as a lot of others have) for 45 years and have had a lot of different bikes. My wife and are really enjoy this bike. My mileage is very good and the power now is up to par (made some changes). I was going to change to the IDS and I do not think I need it; there is no more noise than any other bike I have had. It handles very well even at slow speeds. I had a hard time deciding which touring bike was for me. I found it with this bike. We make a lot of trips, some long, and it is very comfortable, even on long days of 800-1,000 mile days. I like to hear my engine so a quiet bike would not do. After 30,000 miles and 21 months I am still smiling. I also have an 1800 of another brand. Other than power, the 1800 has nothing on the Ultra. The Ultra wins in all the other categories. They are different bikes. I added the H-D oil cooler and a fan but the fan is only needed on PGR missions. I did add the mid fairing for heat but I do not have an excess of heat now. I never remove the lower fairing; no reason to. 6th gear was a bit much for the mountains of Alabama but the SE 255 cams took care of that. I can see this will be another 100,000 mile bike for me.

In open roads I use 6th gear and let it go. Sometimes when we get to some small towns I reduce speed of course. The nice thing about that is to hear her strong and robust noise.
I pay attention to the roads. My wife, the passenger, tells me that some car passengers take pictures. Sometimes in rural areas with farms I respond to waves people give. I make my own list of music to hear during my voyages. It is wonderful to feel that other people are happy because of my choice. This is the machine.

I purchased the 5 year extended warranty plus pre-paid scheduled maintenance by the dealer for 25,000 miles. I love the Electronic Fuel Injection, 96 cubic inch engine and Six Speed transmission. Plus I love the comfortable seat and beautiful limited edition color scheme (Burgundy & Creme / Gold Pearl, available only Jan-Mar 2007). Also the Harley Security System for peace of mind is great. The big 200 mm rear tire for is awesome for looks. Everything chromed. Ape-hanger handlebars. Big bright halogen headlight. Nice sound even with stock mufflers. It is powerful, fast and reliable.

It also has a sound that will keep you smiling from ear to ear, even on stock pipes. This bike goes as fast as I would reasonably want to go, this side of the law. If you've never ridden a Harley, try an FXD because it's the best bang for your Harley buck!
