Well this is my first cruiser bike and let me tell you, I am impressed. Since I had purchased the bike I have had alot of compliments in regards to the overall design and quality, especially the fat 250 tire. Since the purchase I have exchanged bikes with frinds for a test run for a couple of miles and nothing beats the ride of the jackpot. The power is smooth and the vibration is minimal or non existant compared to the HD's I have driven. Some people have asked me why I didn't go the HD route since I had paid that amount of money for it. Well, it's not about being a member of a well known bike manufacturer group, it's about preference and being satisified with what you have purchased. In the end, it's going to be you who is riding the bike and the money is going to be coming out of your personal funds.

Victory puts out some of the best looking factory cruisers in production, and the Kingpin drives almost as good as it looks. The 100ci motor pulls strong throughout the entire rpm range, and the 6-speed transmission is a dream on the freeway. As far as handling goes, this is one of the best handling cruisers I've ridden. However, the stock Dunlops limit what could be THE best handling cruiser on the road. These tires follow every little groove and imperfection on the road (once they wear out, it's time for Avons). Rider comfort is very good. While, the stock seat is tolerable, my wife finds the passenger seat intolerable. No big deal though, as I've replaced the stock seat with a Mustang on every motorcycle I've ever owned, so the KP is no different. Great buy!

Now, having ridden it over 2,100 miles in the last two months, as well as spent lots of time installing add-ons nd upgrades personally, the quality and workmanship astounds me even more today than when I posted my original review almost two months ago. Now being totally familiar with it, especially the odd wheel/tire combination, it handles as good, if not better, than all other cruisers I've ridden. Stop by a dealer and test ride one before you make a mistake and buy that Harley you've been dreaming of! You'll be very glad you did!

Im 6'7 and it's a little tight but everything I ride is. All of the reviews that I have read say it's a hard bike to turn, but I had no problems with it. I only had this bike for one day and I have had nothing but complements about it. I traded in my vtx1800 for her and I didn't think twice about it.
