Will someone please tell my why I would pay more for a hardley and get less of a bike?

This bike has a lot of power, it's low and long, and is the most stable bike I have ever ridden. The Harley Deuce is the closest, as far as rider position. The Victory has more peg clearance, so the turns can be a little more aggressive. I get more mpg than my buddy does on his Softail, at the same highway speed. The Victory is just as solid at 90mph as it is at 19mph. The only thing I had to get used to was the seat. After about the first 60 miles, my tail bone was screaming at me. The more time I spend on the bike, the less my tail bone hurts. Call it breaking in the spine. The rubber mounted bars and engine make this a one handed cruiser at any speed. I am very happy with this bike!

The power is excellent, the ride is comfortable, and the looks are tremendous. The only problem I have are some details that can be fixed with some aftermarket products. The air box is ugly and the wiring coming from the hand controls are equally unsightly. Expect to pay more for after market products than a Harley. Hopefully these prices will fall as more bikes get on the street. I doubt that Victory will ever equal Harley in numbers but it is a great American motorcycle.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Oh yeah! That is what it feels like to ride my 06 Hammer. I looked at everything, I read every review. Wow. Wow. Wow. Oh yeah! That is what it feels like to ride my 06 Hammer. I looked at everything, I read every review. I went to every dealer within 200 miles and at the end of the day, nothing could touch the Hammer. (Well, not for the price) The first thing I did was find the twistiest road I could and see what it would take to gind the pegs. What a blast! This thing does not corner like a cruiser. It's not flickable per se but it is more a smooth roller. The 250 in the back rolls all the way out to the edge as smooth as swinging in a hammock. It feels really stable and in control. As for power... well ... let's just say, she wants to run. I kept dusting my buddy on his 1200 hopped up Harley without having to downshift and regardless of RPM. The whole band has power to spare and that is with CA emmissions stock. I am waiting to get it back from the dealer after my add-ons are installed. Probably tommorow and I can't wait. I just want to get back out on the road. I even got my first compliments on the bike. I was talking to my neighbor and she told me 'The cops really like your bike.' I was a bit confused because I had only had it out 3 times since I got it. She said she has a police scanner and she overheard them commenting on my new bike and how cool it looked over the radio. She knew it was me because a couple minutes later I pulled into my driveway. So I will be an extra good rider in town now I guess. I can't be happier, this bike is everything it is cracked up to be, from fit and finish to looks to performance. My advice is to go out and get Hammered!!!

Forks getting raked out to 45 degrees. YEAH!
