"How do you like it? How does it ride? Is it as fast as I hear it is?And I always answer, "I love it! Great! It's even faster! This bike is a marvel and it thinks it is a middle weight bike. I have been riding Triumphs since 1967 and this is the best motorcycle I have ever had the pleasure of owning regardless of manufacturer. It is great to be a Rocketeer. P.S. I love the sound of the exhaust! This is worth every nickel!

I purchased my 2006 ST just one year ago this month and I absolutely love it! I have a Harley Road King that mainly sits in the garage since the Triumph moved in. If I have anything even slightly negative to say about this bike it would have to be the headlights. I know there is better lighting out there. At night they do leave a little to be desired. Aside from that this bike is super! The fastest I have had this bike is 125 mph and it still had so much more. It held together perfectly at this speed. It fills my desire for a sports bike yet is comfortable enough for the 500 mile day. I actually love the sound of my bike stock but wish sometimes that it were just a little bit louder. I would surely recommend this bike to anyone!

This is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Absolute blast for carving corners. Will probably upgrade to a corbin gunfighter, and change handlebars, as I also like to tour. Got the matching Triumph bags, but am disappointed with the tank bag...should be magnetic instead of...

Got the matching Triumph bags, but am disappointed with the tank bag...should be magnetic instead of straps...already melted straps trying to attach to tank. Great looker though and a real attention getter. Everyone wants to know how old it is...ha ha.

Just completed a trip from Indiana to the Gulf Coast (Natchez, Miss through Baton Rouge, New Orleans (107 degrees), Mobile, Biloxi, Pensacola, Panama City Gatlinburg) ending back in Indiana - 2500 miles. The R3 performed flawlessly getting 40 miles per gallon of juice and getting a lot of stares. The only thing distracting was the seat - a bit too harsh for my a*#. Will upgrade the seat to gel filled prior to next jaunt. Local upholstery shop can rework for a good price. Thinking of Sturgis next year.

I bought my Speed Triple 1 year ago after reading all the reviews available in magazines/ online for naked bikes. I was a little bit afraid of buying it because Triumph is not a big company like Ducati, BMW or any of the big 4 Japaneese, but every paper that I read about it said that it was the best choice in its category. After 1 year with my bike I am the happiest person alive. You can't imagine the power/ torque/speed/acceleration of this machine. On the other hand the upright riding position is comfortable even for a tall person like me. I gave it a 4 just because I would like the foot pegs a little bit lower (I have long legs!). But everything else is just more than what you can expect for a bike like this. I drove a Ducati Monster 820, BMW K1200R, Yamaha Warrior and even a Yamaha R1, but once you ride the Speed Triple you do not want to ride anything else. You just want to return the other bike to your friends and go back to your S3. Belive me. And the price tag is not cheap but is not super expensive either.

This bike is solid, for one or two. The only thing I am not happy with the quality of the stainlless steel exhaust. It started to show signs of rust pitting only days out of the show room. This is my second bike and I have no regrets buying this one.

This is an absolute engineering marvel. The H-D riders are suffering from engine envy. What a magnificent machine. Not a bike for the mild or meek. This monster requires constant attention while riding and strength of upper body. Very, very quick. Extremely responsive throttle and very smooth at speed. Large 240 mm rear tire taakes getting used to as it wants to stand back up in the curves but with practice you can overcome that feeling. Worth every cent I paid for it, and more. You will GRIN when you ride this bad boy.
