I've been into motorcycle touring since the late 60's and have owned such machines as BSA, Norton, Triumph, Matchless, Honda, Yamaha and Harley. Those early bikes taught me you can go just about anywhere on almost anything. That said, my 2006 R1200GS is, hands down, the finest bike I've ever ridden, on- and offroad.
