For the price, this is a great bike. don't compare this to the more expensive bikes as it is not a fair comparison. The engine is very solid and durable but a few more cc's would be nice. The only other thing that I would change would be fatter tires.

It is just a little sluggish through first gear due to my weight, but does an excellent job in compensating. The speedometer cable broke about mile 2, but the company is sending me a free replacement. I have the blue bike and I have to agree with the previous review, it is quite the attention getter. I find many people coming up to me asking questions about it. Can't beat this beginner bike for the price.

I am very impressed so far with this little dual purpose bike. It is light and easy to pilot. I have not had mine very long so I can only judge reliability as not having any problems thus far. I'll update later on if this changes... However, to date everything has worked fine right out of the crate. I assembled mine myself as I have been working on bikes for over 20 years. I did change the hard plastic grips out with some softer Renthals and I'm working on installing a gel pad in the seat for a more comfy underside. Inverted front fork is very beefy for this model; Many front forks on so-called dual purpose, look like the wheel could snap off if you just hit a bump too hard... don't care for the number 5 on the front deflector and what's with the little duckies on the crossbar pad!?!?!? It had to go. As with all new bikes shipped from the manufacturer, all nuts and bolts need to be checked over and a little tuning is usually required to get the engine happy. Mine just needed a little carb tweak on the idle screw and now idles nicely at about 1500 RPM. don't expect a supercross or motocross performer from this guy but if you are looking for something to jump on from the house, drive a few miles to the nearest off-beaten trails, this will do just fine.

Performance is excellent and the handling is better than you would expect with the increased rake and wider rear tire. A review on the bike in American Iron magazine called it the perfect entry level exotic custom. I could't agree more. I haven't ever left the house without getting a thumbs up. I would recomend this bike to anyone.

I have already sent in a review a few weeks back. I had some minor problems, and was a little upset. I have been riding my bike to and from work since. I must say that I am pleased. For the money I spent on this bike it is more than performing. It handles traffic well. The speed O is off, but only by about 5 mph. The max speed of the bike is quicker than 60 mph also. It is closer to the 70 - 75 range. I have been through my first oil change, and found no shavings. My first tank of fuel ($10.00) went 347 miles. I added rubber bushings to the motor mounts, and all but eliminated the vibration. I would also advise purchasing a nice pair of padded riding gloves. If you are planning on purchasing this bike for speed or sport pass it up. If you are looking for a real fuel saver this is the ticket. In 8 months the bike will pay for it's self.

Best bike made. It is what Harleys become after several years of aftermarket parts, save some time and money and you don't have to change anything, maybe the mirrors. Rides great, no problems, awesome service center. There is a suction cup in the tailbone area of the solo seat, take it out and cut 1/4 inch off of the threaded end and screw it back in, the numbness goes away. The digital information center is hard to see in the sunlight. The paint job looks like one off of a custom.

It has the 111. I am used to the power of my last bike, a 1999 Yamaha R1 with 147 hp at the rear tire. This is a different machine but I love it. It is easy to handle and rides nice 2 up. The air ride is very nice. I still can't stop looking at some items that were addressed to really make the bike look finished and custom. You have to spend time around it to see everything they do and do right. You do give a little bit in comfort with forward controls but it does look really clean that way. I even like the stock 2 into 1 pipe. It has just enough sound for me. The Big Dog is very quiet because of the EPA.
