I got the first 500 miles on it and got it serviced in Seattle about 135 miles away, what a great ride if not a bit cold. Okay going across Stevens pass was like an icebox. The bike performed great, cornering, power and comfort all great. I can't wait for summer; I plan to get a stage 1 kit put on at the next service.

Just finished my first 1000 miles with the Hammer. Got the Nuclear Sunset with the tattoos. I have not been so proud since my daughter was born. Amazing how many stares, comments and compliments I get every day. Just got rid of a BMW Montauk and have had Hondas, Yamahas and Kawasakis. The Hammer is the best bike to date. Can not think of a single muscle cruiser that compares - not even a V-Rod. Took just about 3 rides to get used to the fat back tire, and now I'm taking curves and turns like riding my CBR or R1. Forget all other bikes. If you want knock-your-socks-off performance, handling, looks and quality, go for the Hammer. You will have no regrets at all.

I am a bike junkie, not prejudiced in that I like good bikes of most any brand. I have been riding a number of years and have ridden and owned a good many bikes during that time. I am 55 years old. Recently, I got interested in making a move to Harley ownership. I bought a new 04 Sportster Roadster and from that developed an interest in the Road King. Because of the reputation, I seriously wanted to love this bike. However, during the search, I begin to compare the Road King to a Victory. First interest was in the Kingpin, which is a fine bike. But I kept being attracted to the Touring Cruiser. This is one fine bike for me. It is a large, comfortable touring bike with a smooth running and powerful engine. It handles like a much smaller bike with big bike comfort and power. It is the quality look of the Harley's but with a modern engine that appears to have the low maintenance technology (I love riding but not too keen on having to constantly work on bikes). The fit and finish of the TC is top notch. Mine is black and chrome and looks great to me. It comes in some really nice color options however. The fit is perfect for me. The stock seat is one of the first that I have not wanted a Corbin replacement right away. The transmission shifts very smooth and I love the belt drive. Tubeless tires are a plus. The bike really does come stock with most everything that you add on other bikes. The seat height is good for me. I always feel in control. The balance is good. I just took an 800 mile trip and just loved the bike. The hard bags hold all I need. The bike looks and rides good. It appears to be a low maintenance bike. I fully recommend this bike. It is one of my favorite bikes ever. I liked enough to trade the Harley on it and keep my Kaw Nomad and CB1000. Check out Victory. The product is outstanding. The 2 dealers I have dealt with have been refreshing. I am very pleased.

I was in the market for a new bike and I had decided that it would be an American made bike this time after riding metric bikes for many years. I had been looking at this really nice Road King but could not deal with the salesman on a decent deal. I have 2 cousins that ride the Victory Vegas and after riding them I was turned on to the Victory bikes. When the Hammer came out is when I was impressed with the looks of this bike. I went to the Victory dealer and traded in my Road Star for a black Hammer and have been smiling ever since. My wife rides a sport bike and now after riding the Hammer she wants one for herself. I had the stage 1 kit installed with the drag pipes and the power is super impressive to say the least. This bike gets a lot of good comments and quite a lot of Harley riders are impressed with this new American motorcycle. This bike is definitely a keeper.

The sales manager asked me if I had ever ridden a Victory before and I said no. The sales manager insisted that I ride one and put me on a 2003 Touring Cruiser demo bike. I was hooked on Victory Touring Cruisers from that day on. don't just take my word for it ride a Victory Touring Cruiser. They handle great.

This is my first cruiser and I must say I'm in love! This bike is beautiful and handles almost better than my Caddy. I get stopped constantly by Harley riders kicking themselves after I tell them how much I saved on this bike. It took a little time to get used to the weight after throwing a crotch rocket around but once it gets rolling, you and the bike are one. I get so much attention on this bike... 1) Because I feel guys are flippin' because a "girl" is riding this beast and 2) The bike is simply gorgeous! Before you walk in any dealership... try the Victory, any one. I guarantee you won't be disappointed and happy at the money you will save!

I got a chromed out version of the Hammer, it looks like nothing else. It isn't a real power cruiser, but has plenty of power for my riding. I looked at a number of bikes and drove many, before I decided on the Hammer. There is simply nothing else like it. If power is your thing you may want to add some stage 1 pipes and a stage III kit. That should give you enough power to please most people. It has way more power than any Harley except the V Rod, and has more than most Jap cruisers with equal sized engines. It may lag behind some cruisers with 2000cc engines. The only bike that compares in the looks department is a Screaming Eagle V Rod for about $14,000.00 more. As you can tell I love it. The wide rear tire does mean some wider turns but you get used to it. All the looks you get riding it are worth the extra effort.

I had the stage I installed and requested the stage III but the dealer was unable to get it. I also own a Honda ST1100 sport/tour bike and the hammer simply does not handle as nimbly as the ST but I did not want or expect it to. This bike does exactly what I'd hoped it would. It Handles fine for such a big bike and the 250 rear tire takes some getting used to but works great. Fun, Fun, Fun motorcycle.
