I took delivery of my motorcycle on Friday August 13th. So far (allowing for tropical storms and hurricanes) I have put nearly 500 miles on my Touring Cruiser. My initial impressions are very positive. The bike has plenty of power and is silky smooth on the road. My wife especially enjoys the floor boards and backrest. Being a relatively new rider (under 4 years riding experience) I have few things to compare the bike to. My last ride was a 2002 Shadow Spirit 750 and I have ridden my brother's Honda Valkyrie extensively. The bike gets a lot of attention on the road due to its classic looks and rarity. The bike has plenty of give-room and a comfortable factory seat. No more butt burn. I'm pleased with the bike and would highly recommend it to anyone.

While the seat is a little stiff, the whole package is way above the low rider I was on, and I don't mean in height either. It has a fist full of power and torque, the paint is unbelievable, the chrome and billet components are first rate, and this bike draws a crowd wherever it is parked. This is definitely the new hot ride in cruiser country.

I'll give it to Polaris, thanks for a bike that looks custom without the added cost of accessories. It was difficult to choose from the Harley night train and the Victory Vegas but when it got down to the final say, I wanted 1,500 dollars more accessories on the night train, that was already priced too high. Thanks to the sales guys from the Harley dealership, they sold the Vegas. People will not be disappointed to ride the Victory products. It's nice to see an additional bike made in America.

I ordered my Kingpin in September after test riding a Vegas. The KP had more of the styling I preferred with the inverted forks and quasi Indian fenders. Bike arrived last week of April. To date the Kingpin has been rock solid reliable. I had stage one out the door. The sound is awesome and the bike never misses a beat. It will run and hide from the HD 88s but the 95 inchers will give it a good run. The bike is quick and smooth shifting. Handling is very positive. The Kingpin likes to drop into corners a bit quick. You do not have to push or force it to turn. If you have never experienced a quick turning bike this takes a bit of getting used to but once you adjust the bike, it will rail through the corners. I have not yet touched boards down. Brakes are impressive. Like all bikes ergonomics and comfort are specific to the rider. For me the ergonomics work well. I ordered 2" pullbacks and they place my hands just about perfect. I find that leg room is good. Boards are big and allow you to move feet forward and back. Seat is adequate for rides up to 150-200 miles 3-4 hours. I have ridden several days in excess of 100 miles. On a 420 one way trip the saddle did get a bit uncomfortable but was bearable. Used a t-bag as a backrest and it allowed me some wiggle room. I am going to upgrade to the Corbin eventually mostly for the driver's backrest. If you're a local around town guy/gal then the seat is not an issue. My daughter likes the rear seat much more then the Marauder we had before (for what that's worth). Quality. The bike itself is put together very well IMHO. I only have two issues that I feel could or should be better. I have all black deluxe and the tank needs to be replaced as I have some discoloration in the paint. Have not pursued it yet with Victory but will be doing so soon. The Victory luggage rack is not top shelf. It leaves a bit to be desired. Chrome is a B grade at best on the rack. If there was aftermarket available I would have bought other than the Victory. Overall I would give the KP a 4.75. Aftermarket is limited but then when you ride you don't see a Kingpin every third bike. Victory has a winner and I love being in the wind on this scoot. I highly recommend to those who wish to be individuals amongst the crowd. It does get attention every where I go, and I've been going a lot since picking her up. Highly recommended......

I just bought a beautiful '04 purple flame Victory V92TC. With this being my second Victory TC (I also own a '02 V92TC), I can attest to the vast improvement in ride and refinement over the past two model years. One of my main complaints (for the '02) was harsh front suspension. For 2004, Victory has re-calibrated the front and rear suspension, and did a fantastic job. The TC now has the suspension that one would expect from a TOURING cruiser. Rubber mounted handlebars have all but eliminated any buzz, and the transmission (still quite clunky on the '02) is as smooth as anything I've ridden. The '04 is powered by the same Freedom engine my '02 has (which has proved to be bullet proof), so I expect that I'll get the same performance & reliability. Now the low points... The '04 still has the same AWFUL stock seat that the '02 had. A Mustang seat easily remedied that. Victory still insists on using cheap looking exhaust fasteners (especially visible by the rear cylinder jug, which WILL turn a rusty color after a few thousand miles). They sell a nice looking chrome nut as an accessory for $8. (Why not just put them on the bike before it hits the showroom floor?) Finally, when are the Victory designers going to realize that the exhaust is just plain old ugly? Anyway, enough of the gripes. This is one fantastic bike. Powerful, roomy, comfortable, smooth, good looking. What more can you ask for?

Only complaint is seat is a little stiff for long rides. HD's look great...in your rear view mirror.

I've been riding for 35 years, this is by far the best bike for the buck. I looked at Harley's again, and still again I could not ride it for any length of time, too much vibration. The Victory is the only big bike out there that needs NO maintenance. It has a great ride and the performance is better then any other V-Twin I have ridden. In fact the only thing I can say that is not top notch is the front blinkers (turn signals). They are just not very good quality. The good ol USA did it right with this one. GREAT bike, if you ride a Harley you need to try this one. You will never go back to the old school again.
