I had the tremendous advantage of riding the follwing bikes on extended loan: 2004 HD V-rod, 2005 HD FX Dyna Wide Glide, 2006 HD Easy Glide, 2004 Ultra Mac Daddy (awesome) and Groundpounder. Then I went to Biketoberfest in Daytona FL. Until Bikertoberfest I'd never even heard of Victory but when I saw the Cory Ness Vegas on display my search was over. I wanted it right then and there but I didn't have the nerve to shell out $25k on a brand I never heard of so I settled for an '04 Vegas Arlen Ness Signature Series. I love this bike. It's not a typical HD seen-it-done-it ho-hum motorcycle since this bike gets a lot of attention. It's much more practical than the factory cutoms like an Ultra. The factory seat is not very comfortable (see my weight) but it's an oppurtunity to do some customizing. If you're looking...buy it...you won't regret it.

Because this is my first bike ever, a years worth of research on cruiser's went into this decision. It finally came down to the Yamaha Roadstar and the Victory Vegas. Since then I ride everyday thanks to the weather. Minimal vibration, awesome handling, custom styling, unbeatable pricing, and a powerful v-twin. Few upgrades warranted so you're spending more on the bike and less on accessories (e.g. if you're bike gets stolen, you're less likely to lose your money on the extras). The '04 seat is the only discomfort. Everybody I work with loves it and one even bought the 8-ball after his Yamaha Roadstar Warrior was stolen. He told me the Victory was definitely the better bike.

I ride a lot. I got this as my first v-twin. 10 miles on the odo when I got it. Since then, I have added 7500. The only problem that I can complain about is the fuel system, when the low fuel light comes on, you only got about 10-15 miles to get gas. I do get between 130-140 miles per tank. The... read more

The bike is a blast to ride. Everybody loves the curves of the tank. The seat is comfortable for long rides. The forward pegs let you stretch your legs out. Great bike. Great price. Make the Harley boys jealous by having a bike that will start.

Well it's been almost two years and 4000 miles, not a lot but hey, that's the job I have. As for the ride, it's been a blast. Surging and raw fuel smell was taken care of by purchasing a new card, you can only flash the 1st card twice according to Maxey's. No problems since, bike is fast, agile and... read more

The looks were awesome and the ride was so much better than any other bike I've ever ridden. I was going to write about my 8 Ball until I saw a comment about Victory having bad resale value I'm proof that that not true. So don't follow the pack, lead on a Vic.

I currently own a 2004 Victory Kingpin and just recently purchased a 2005 Vegas. Having owned 9 Harleys, an American Iron Horse Thunder, and a R100RT BMW, I must say the Victory has given me more pleasure than any of the others. The Victory motorcycle is a more comfortable motorcycle from the factory than any Harley I ever owned and the Kingpin is the first of any that I didn't have the change the seat and handlebars on to be comfortable. My wife rides the Vegas and we have no intention of going back to HD.

There is not enough room to say all the good things about this motorcycle. First off, TRUE American made, bullet proof and dependable motor that just keeps on and on. Lots of torque and HP right off the floor, with a stage one kit...hold on, this thing is quick. Great styling, always gets the attention, prepare to get noticed is the Victory tagline and it is an understatement, prepare to get overwelmed with attention. This bike is not for the sheep, step out of the heard and see the view from the front for a change, get Victory and lead the pack. Everyone says the same...WOW great looking bike, all the other big v-twin owners say WOW that thing is fast. Again, I can't say enough good things about this bike. Go ride one and you will see what I am talking about.

With regard to comfort, this was THE MOST COMFORTABLE BIKE I HAVE OWNED. I have owned a few. I love Triumphs, like Harleys, but geez, I miss riding that Vic. Will own another Vic before I am through.
