I just bought a one-owner 2003 Road Star Warrior less than a week ago and love it! I thought about buying this bike for quite some time, and now with a little more experience under my belt, own it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hot metric V-twin. It has loads of power, is beautifully designed and is seriously a piece of artwork! I am 100% satisfied with the performance, ride, cornering and comfort (Corbin seat). I would buy another Warrior without hesitation.

I have had this bike for a bit and will simply say that it is, for the money, the best cruiser you will find in it's class. Honda has a similar but still heavier version that I feel doesn't compare as far as handling is concerned. If you are looking to commute 'stop-go, stop-go' type traffic as I do, the bike handles incredibly well. If you just want that slow 2 hour ride it's as smooth and easy on your body as I have ridden. The power is there all the time, even when carrying a rider. The bike itself gets a lot of looks and people comment about how nice it is. I have done quite a few addtions to my bike but even as it was off the lot it will get people talking. The seat is the only issue that I could comment about in a negative sense and it would be slight. You need to personalize a seat that will fit you right and this stock with the bike one simply is that - a stock seat. It will never feel perfect like an addition of a Corbin or Mustang made. Overall I am impressed with the cost of maintenance compared to my old Gold Wing and Roadster. Both previous bikes took a small fortune to service and they constantly were having to be worked on. This bike, full service, is about $180.00 every 2000 miles or so and I have not had a repair to do yet.

Great power across the board, with handling to match. Comfortable riding position for city/Hwy/touring/cruising. Next best thing to a full sport bike. Reviews in Motorcyclist & Cycle World will confirm my review for 2003-FZ-1. Reminds me of Triumph, BSA, XLCH, Norton, of past with addition of...

This bike is awesome not only in tracks but also in trails; bike's never gave me any probs in technical single-track uphills, whether or not I run with the 9-oz steely flyweight or not... Honestly, though, I prefer trail riding the blue ripper w/o any flyweight on, rain or shine. don't believe...

Honestly, though, I prefer trail riding the blue ripper w/o any flyweight on, rain or shine. don't believe people saying that 125's are hard to use in trails. Those who say that are the same people who don't know how to use 125's. It's the best bike (so far) I had that I used exclusively in trails. My former dirt bikes, Honda XR200, Kawasaki KMX125, and Yamaha DT125, don't even come close to it...

I've had pit bikes. Honda. Suzuki. Kawasaki. I love Yamaha after all. This bike is perfect. I love pulling wheelies. I can beat my friend on his 2001 Honda Recon no problem. I can also beat my dad on his 2001 Honda 300ex which goes 55 easy. I ride this bike everyday. It is clearly a great bike with lots of speed. If you're looking into getting a dirt bike, go with the Yamaha.

This bike can take a beating!!! I grew up riding CCC runs (trail riding) in Michigan. I rode since I was three and have rode a CBR900RR since 1999. This bike was different than anything I had ever rode and I crashed it a lot! I don't mean tipped over either I mean knocked out crash landings!...

This bike was different than anything I had ever rode and I crashed it a lot! I don't mean tipped over either I mean knocked out crash landings! Luckily for me and the bike we now get along a lil better. The suspension was a lil stiff for my weight so I changed the spring rate and that has helped a lot. I obviously race C class due to my lack of experience but it is so much fun and this bike had held up great to the abuse! I just got my radiators straightened due to previous crashes and I am installing braces, even though I don't crash as much with the speed I ride now. If I do crash it will definitely be hard.

I changed the front sprocket (1 down) and the rear sprocket(2 up). Stage 1 jet kit(dynojet). Yosh slip on pipe. Frame slides. Stock tires sucked so I got pirelli diablos. They work fantastic with this bike. My buddy has a 2002 R6(stock). I can take him in any set of twisties. On the straights, he has me a by little in the top end. This bike is definitely more comfortable than the racing bikes. Also can do power up wheelies with ease.
