My America looks right, sounds right, feels right, and has the right amount of power and torque for enjoying a nice twisty back road or traveling down the freeway. Can't ask for more than that. It has the look and feel of the '49 Triumph 650 I had when I was 16 but everything else is up to date.

I wanted something under 500 lbs, hard luggage, sport bike-like seating (knees huggin the tank), upright seating position, wet clutch, and more then 100 horses. My dealer let me take out the Tiger and I was sold. It's very comfortable but plenty aggressive. I'm 6'1" and 215 and the bike fits great. It would be a little tall for short riders. It's great for rough roads/fire roads. I do wish that there were more acccessories to personalize the bike...but even stock it gets a lot of looks. The 2002 left overs are a great deal as they come with matching hardbags, 2 year warranty and 3.9% financing. Cool bike.

2003 Triumph Tiger 955i

I was on my way to buy a new BMW when I stopped by the Triumph dealer to check the price on a helmet. I saw the Tiger and sat on it. I was comfortable for my 6'3" frame. The owner of the dealer encouraged me to take it for a ride, so I did. That was it for me. I bought the bike the next week and...

The owner of the dealer encouraged me to take it for a ride, so I did. That was it for me. I bought the bike the next week and I've been riding it for the last month. I've been riding for over 30 years, and this bike is more fun than anything I've ridden since my first mini-bike. It's quick, balanced, and easy in the corners. It just wants to drop into the grove and accelerate out the other side of the corners. It's MUCH more comfortable than my last sport-bike. No upper-body fatigue, no vibration, no peaky powerband - just smoothe, even power at all speeds. Ride it. You'll love it too!

Purchased my new Bonneville Triumph America in April 2003. Though the weather here in the east has been poor riding weather (to put it nicely), my time spent on the bike has been a dream. Great ride, and lots of compliments on the looks and the sound (I put on Bub's "Dresser Dogs" silencers). The forward controls let you hang back and cruise, though a little more forward adjustment would be nice for me, as my legs are long. The seat fits your backside well and I hear it gets better as it breaks in, though chose to purchase a Corbin seat with studs, looks great and wow, what a seat. I would have liked better riding pegs, a metal front fender and dash, but I can take a little plastic and the peg and grip issues were not problems as I purcahsed grips and pegs from Ma's cycles. The bike is well balanced and handles great on the back roads and the highway. It has a lot going for it, and I am positive that I could not have made a better choice in a cruiser or a bike in general. Finally, it is nice to have a bike that not everyone else is ridding. Far and few between, but that is all the better. Get one, you will not be disapointed that's for sure.

I just got the silver triumph daytona 600 in september of '03. All I got to say is that it has and continues to pass all my expectations. I was in the market for a bike this summer and had my eyes set on the R6, but when I met the sexy silver triumph it was love at first sight. Especially when I sat on it. The riding position is so comfortable, I'm 5'7-5'8 185 and it fits like a glove. The bike does sit a lil high than other jap bikes but I love the feel. It handels great on the road and especially in turns. Some of the added features that the british bike posesess that other jap bikes dont just shows how determined triumph was in making a great 600c bike that riders would appreaciate. The triumph daytona 600 has given me 110% satisfaction. Truely the best decision I've ever made!!!!!!!!!!

Go for my first service tomorrow,800ks on the clock, I had to go to a cruiser type vehicle as I a BK (below knee) amputee. I traded a 955i sprintk3 model on my speedie, I miss the power of the tripple but I get where I am going alright on my speedie. a few things I would like to see changed on this model by the manufacturer. A low fuel warning light, or better still a fuel gauge would be a plus, do away with the useless rev counter and replace it with a clock, Indicator signal lights should be either side of the speedo, overtaking flasher system is a must for day and night riding, And if they really want a world beating lightweight cruiser then Triumph must put there new generation 955i Fuel injected motor in this or a modified frame. Can't wait for that to happen. This 800cc model though is a nice duel purpose wee bike. Shame about the pathetic pillion seat, if you could call it one. But it is reasonably priced as you couldn't by much of a HD for the price of a new Speedie now could you? Triumph you are listening to your customers and that's great...Keith from New Zealand

I've had my D6 since June '03 and I have not found anything that I dont like. I've ridden all of the competitors and I can honestly say that, for the riding I do, it is next to perfect. The only bike with more low and mid power is the Kawi with its 36 extra cc's. Oh and the Yamaha's amazing top end but no guts down low. The Honda's got the D6 matched for the most part except for the red line. I love tearing up the North GA mountain roads on this bike. The light weight 600's got awesome power and feels awesome in the corners. Excellent feedback from the front tire. Pirelli Diablo's stock, c'mon man, you can tell Triumph wasn't just playing around with this machine. I'll take on any 600 out there with the confidence that I have a superior machine. BRING IT ON BUDDY!
