I kept up with the hogs even the ones with performance upgrades not bad for $6,300 able to stay with the crowd of 15k plus bikes. Still looking to put some Hard Krome 3" Staggered Straights on her to give her a little grunt. But as always still the Best Bang for the BUCK.

At 13K and only new tires and oil changes no problems at all. Looked at the new 650 and now with the new larger wheels cannot fit. Darn. I ride with the local motorcycle club here on Base and keep up with all the Harleys, Honda's and whatever's. I am the only one with a "scooter" and roll with them at 65 75 mph no problem. We do many rides in Nebraska and Iowa open space and fast speeds and have a ball. Got a lot of wow's from the club members on the bike and being able to keep up with them and not hold them down on the rides. Only wish it did have an overdrive trans. That would be the kicker, 100 miles per gallon..... Sweet,,,,

I comute to work 25 miles each way, so it has greatly helped my pocket book with its 70 mile to the gallon performance. I have had no problems riding along the 4 lane HiWay at 70+ miles per hour with a top speed somewhere around 80. It has been a joy to own, and I have no intention of getting rid of it any time soon.

I've done 129,000kms now and it's still going quite well. I've done regular oil changes, and just the normal (basic) maintainance. It hasn't let me down once yet. The carb. diaphrams are just getting tiny holes in them now, so will have to renew them soon though. It's a great, fun bike. I've owned it for 14 years now and ride it every work day(5 days a week). I also go for a blast with some friends over some local hills and usually either beat them to the top or at least chase them fairly closely. The early ones (my model) have solidly mounted discs and calipers, and can after some years have some problems with sticky pistons. Still, they work OK for me. It still does approx.65 miles to the N.Z. gallon. A very reliable bike. I wish I could buy a new one, but I still have my children living at home. My daughter loves to go for a blast with me though, I think she has the 'Biker Bug' too maybe!

Of course you will need to get off the bike after about 80-100 miles to regain feeling in your butt and hands. The stock seat is not great and the vibration can get to you. However, it is a vee so it is excpected. I'm getting the Suzuki gel seat. This is a good all around bike and I would recommend to anyone.

This is a great starter bike to learn or relearn on. No complaints and everyone thought it was a much bigger bike. I have an '06 Harley Super Glide being delivered in October, once I leave Afghanistan. I will always look back at my time on the 250 and be thankful for gaining experience on it before going larger.

I recently purchanced a 2003 GZ250, and I abosluetly love the bike. I was very suprised when I got it, just because I got it to ride around town, and was amazed when I found out that It can actually pull my 220 lbs body up to about 70 on the Highway with out sounding like it is going to explode. The comfort is a bit poor for the seat, but so is any stock bike seat. But other than that, I am in love with the bike. I bought it for just in town, and for my wife to learn on this fall after she takes her MFS course, but I have found my self riding it much more than I ride my larger bike. The only reason I rate it 4 stars in performance is because it is a bit slow at getting up to H-way speeds, but it will do it. This is an amazing little single that is going to be in my garage for a long time. I am actually considering getting the next up model for my self with the 40 cc single cylinder when I am forced to give this one to by better half this fall. Forget my Kawasaki 500 LTD, I am a suzuki guy from now on.

I rode over near vertical hills, mud as sticky as syrup and rocks 2-3 feet tall! This bike is awesome for the beginning teen or learning. It has plenty of power for those long hills and great gas mileage for long trips. I would definitely recommend this bike!
