I bought the bike new and have not regretted it for a minute. It still draws a lot of attention wherever I go, even from the Harley guys. Other than an oil cooler that sprung a leak and an erratic speedo, both repaired under warrenty, it has been trouble free and a great bike. I replaced the clipons with Cycle Cat adjustable bars and the stock seat with Triumph's gel seat, both were huge improvements in comfort and I highly recommend them. The Two Brothers slipon and the K&N air filter helped with the low end engine response and sounds good without being too loud. The power is good even though I would like more, and the handling and feedback are great.

I've been riding for 40 years and have ridden or owned all types of bikes. My '02, TBA is without comparison. I'm an average rider at 3,500 miles a year. My TBA is a one-off factory machine having been photographed for the '02 accessory catalog and making the rounds of the bike shows and tours on the Triumph truck. It is chromed out and has a Corbin solo seat. It draws more attention and comments than a naked lady in church! I believe it to be the King of the medium cruiser class and it eats up the big baggers off the line and in the twisties. I recommend it to anyone considering this type/style of machine.

My first bike so I don't have much to base it on. I have ridden a CBRF4I, and from what I experience, this bike is very similar. It's comfortable, quick, and handles like a rollercoaster. I've yet to slip in the turns with my pilots and I've seemed to burn the rubber off them a little faster than intended. I'm selling the bike soon to get a new Daytona 600. I'm definitely sticking to Triumph, actually with the jap bikes. When it comes to looks and personality, these bikes come on top. Oh, did I mention the curves? Wow... I'm not one to do tricks on a motorcycle, but the first week I had the bike I accidently did a few. Wheelies seem to be a little too easy if you crack the throttle in 1st and 2nd. If you're looking for a stunt bike, fix your sprocket and this middleweight machine will more than suit your needs. Done typing, I'm going riding.

I just got the cramp buster for $10 and it is worth its weight in gold, I highly recommend one. The center stand and higher windscreen is a must. The headlights at night are very good. High octane 92 gas is a must or when you get on it, the engine will ping. I have rode bikes all my life and this is the most bike for the money, period.

I found this bike easier to ride than the one I was given to do my riding skills course on. Comfortable to the point I think it's actually fixing my back problems rather than aggravating them, possibly because it demands a reasonable posture. I got a 2002 model at a discount in May 2004. Prefered the black silver color. The bike attracts a lot of positive comments from all sorts of people: young, old, male, female. The thing has real personality. The only negative comments relate to the pipes. People think the bike ought to sound like an old Triumph rather than a "VW". It doesn't bother me though because remedies are available. I read it was the best selling model for Triumph in Australia & Triumph were the best selling European manufacturer here (beat BMW). I think they should have stuck with derivatives like the Speedmaster rather than the way they've gone this year. Time will tell.

If you're an experienced rider that needs a little thrill in your riding but you don't want to pay high insurance costs, this is your bike... look no further!

Looked for over 6 months for a nice retro style cruiser. I found a used, but pristine Bonneville and haven't looked back to regret it. It is so much more of a machine than the Triumphs of old. You don't have to worry about the bike leaking oil, wiring, ignition, or lighting system anymore, AND, you can work on them without having English Wentworth tools. Unless you are a really large person, this bike has all the UMPH you'll need and it'll get you there quickly and safely with all the modern upgrades. Heads turn when they see you, and you can't keep them away. They all want to get a better close up of the bike. You'll also like all the compliments you'll get like: Nice, what year? I had one when I was -- old. You won't hear that with many modern bikes. Ride Safe.

If I'm going downtown L.A. and need to white line, this is the one. If I'm running errands around town, nope, I'll use the Ural sidecar rig. I sold a Harley Low Rider Sport to buy this and have never regretted it. Everyone's got a Harley, but you don't see a whole lot of T-birds. On bike night there's more people looking at my $8,000 Triumph than at the dime-a-dozen $30,000 H-D's. It's got excellent speed and power, handles superbly, super reliability, great comfort (I've got the King/Queen seat), and looks darn good, too. Mine's four years old, and I plan on keeping it forever. This is the first bike I've had that I didn't get tired of.

Good looks, great handling, plenty of power and you can ride it for hours at a time.
