Without question this is one of the most maintenance free motorcycles made, topping it off with excellent handling and a style of its own. Has all the extra goodies that other Motorcycle companies fail to put on motorcycles today. It has more then enough power to do just about any kind of riding one could ask for, mine tops out about 127+ with ease. I changed the seat with a Mustang seat because I love to ride and when I say I am going for a quick ride I put at least 225 on before returning. The Mustang seat after breaking in I can go all day and never get tired of riding and cruse the highway doing 80 plus all day and it loves it. The real plus side of this motorcycle is it weighs less than 500 pounds dry which counts for the excellent handling. Without question keeps up with the other larger or monster bikes that you need a crane to lift and rides as nice, and a whole lot of fun to ride anywhere. See you on the road and this is all anybody needs to enjoy the roads to freedom I should know I am a pro motorcycle rider for over 30 years, Thanks!

I have been looking for a long time for a motorcycle that fits me, and one day I stumbled upon the ZZR1200. When I got on, it fit me like a glove. I have looked at Hondas and Yamahas and they didn't come close. I have a 2002, this thing is like a rocket when it takes off - it has a lot of power and...

It has great gas mileage and awesome performance. Too bad Kawasaki won't be making anymore. They moved up to the zx-14. Ride Safe.

This is the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. Not to discount what the others have said, but one of the reasons I picked this bike is BECAUSE of the seat and how soft and comfortable it is. I have absolutely no complaints about his bike. I love it, and when it gets old I will trade in for the...

I have had my 05 zrx for about 4 months now and ride when I can. It is a solid bike which feels like it was made just for me. Ergonomically speaking I really have no issues. It appears laid out with my frame in mind. The bike feels planted for my type of riding. It handles directional inputs well and inspires trust. Fit and finish are as good as any I've observed. Kawasaki motors are both stout and reliable and that goes with any machine they make. In other words, reliability is a non-issue. The bike has consistently delivered 50 plus mpg with mild to moderate power application. Not bad for a motor that is barely broken in. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

This is a fun bike in town or on the freeway. It's pretty easy to handle and yet its 4 cylinders carry me as fast as I'd like to go. Many sportbikes can beat it but in turn it will outpace many cruisers. I just recently learned that this is called a "naked" bike because it's a sportbike with an...

This is a fun bike in town or on the freeway. It's pretty easy to handle and yet its 4 cylinders carry me as fast as I'd like to go. Many sportbikes can beat it but in turn it will outpace many cruisers. I just recently learned that this is called a "naked" bike because it's a sportbike with an uncovered engine. The rider position on this bike is less aggressive than a sportbike but more uncomfortable than a cruiser. This mix might be okay for some people but my passenger hates the seat angle, and I get tired on it after about an hour. I've gotten to the point where comfort means more to me and I am considering the Honda VTX 1300R.

I bought this bike new as my first bike 3 1/2 years ago. It was easy to learn on and as I've gotten to be a better rider I don't feel I've outgrown this bike, it can still do a lot more than I can. Even after being spoiled by riding a 916, I still enjoy going back to my 500. It does get a little...

Even after being spoiled by riding a 916, I still enjoy going back to my 500. It does get a little uncomfortable after about 80 miles, although a short break to stand and stretch resolves that. I am planning on eventually upgrading to a Corbin seat, but haven't done enough rides without breaks to make it an issue.

This is a one person bike only. Top speed 110mph after couple tanks of sea foam fuel additive. I wouldn't bother taking it off road into serious dirt/mud, too much power and too heavy. Just a tad flighty in heavy winds, be prepared. More than enough bike. Bit of a juggling act taking off in first...

Just a tad flighty in heavy winds, be prepared. More than enough bike. Bit of a juggling act taking off in first due to it having one lung. Just google "KLR650" and you'll see why this bike is king. Just about the cheapest bike out there but not in quality. You better have long legs though. And yes the military uses this bike for a reason, no maintenance! Has the mother of all rear luggage racks with perfect anchor points.

This is a pretty awesome bike, some may think that it has lots of ancient technology but this is what keeps it reliable and easy to maintain (atleast for me), I bought a used Zx6e with 2500 miles on it and now at 10500 miles on it with zero problems whatsoever, the thing just works, all I kept doing was a regular oil change. Has speed when you need it , hit 145 MPH before I chickened out with enough juice left to do atleast 155 Mph. Comfort is average , Butt starts going stiff on the stock seat after like 70 miles, performance is good to average considering it's a very heavy bike compared to some of the new ones. If you are looking for a regular commuter bike and want something which would pass as a sports bike this one is for you. Only complaint I have is you have to remove like a zillion interlocked and unreachable screws on the fairing to get to the innards of the engine.
