Chetak is a great bike! Feels somewhere between a scooter and a motorcycle to me. Love the manual shift! Solid reliability. These scooters are tanks and are built to last. With front and rear racks I can carry an enormous amount of stuff on this scooter. The bench seat can carry 2 people with lots...

With front and rear racks I can carry an enormous amount of stuff on this scooter. The bench seat can carry 2 people with lots of spare room.

I love the steel body! This scooter carries both me and my wife easily. I came with an excellent warranty and the dealers and Bajaj USA are always willing to answer questions. This is my first purchase with a company that the president of the company answers my questions personally. I can't say...

Hard to beat refurbished Vespas, without a doubt, but for the person that wants a reliable, durable "new" scooter with "retro" looks, the Bajaj Chetak is it. I did my homework for over six months on scooters and my choice was this fantastic scoot. With the increase in oil prices, pollution, and "urban assault vehicles" on the roads, scooters are making more and more sense for the fortunate people that live close to work and shopping. Shop around and you will see for yourself. Save the Planet, buy a scoot!

You just can't beat the Bajaj Chetak for the money. It's an all metal India made product in the classic style of the real thing ... Italian made Vespa. Bajaj actually made Vespa units years ago when Piaggio sold the rights. The low center of gravity, tight turning radius and zippy feeling make...

You just can't beat the Bajaj Chetak for the money. It's an all metal India made product in the classic style of the real thing ... Italian made Vespa. Bajaj actually made Vespa units years ago when Piaggio sold the rights. The low center of gravity, tight turning radius and zippy feeling make it a great urban transport ride for around town and secondary roads. Top speed is about 55, but be patient. I wouldn't want to go any faster on the 10" tires anyway. With so much metal body work it makes a great "canvas" to add your personal touch. Check it out at www.bajajusa.com Ride on!
