Had the bike for a couple of years now and I must say that it has done everything I wanted it to. I wasn't sure which bike to pick as a beginner, and I feel I have made the right choice. It gets about 65 MPG & is great for putting around town. I've had it off road a few times & it works very well. Keep in mind that I'm not a pro rider. I had one problem the second time I took it offroad - I think it got too hot & it wouldnt start.(A friend had to bail me out!) That was probably due to my inexperience, since I haven't had a problem since. It's a fun bike to ride! I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to get some aftermarket parts - they seem to be hard to find!

I just turned 18 and have wanted a sport bike for a long time. I bought this bike about a month ago and have been riding it everywhere since then. It's my first bike and has been an excellent one to learn on. It has got plenty of punch, especially in the high RPM's. Despite this the bike is extremely comfortable and easy to ride. Very forgiving handling and excellent breaks. Great all around bike, especially for the price.

The revs... it revs forever and feels like it will just keep going!! The only problem is starting it. Get used to using the compression realease. It is such a blast to be able to pull a wheelie in almost every gear without using the clutch!

Only just beaten by the 2004 model. I got my YZ125 new in 2001 and still have it. This is the best 125 I've ever owned. It is super reliable and very strong. I've kept it completely standard apart from cosmetically. I believe that all around, YZ's are the best package available. This bike handles and turns great, it chops through the ruts effortlessly. It's very quick with excellent suspension and brakes. I recommend any YZ, but this one especially - IT'S GREAT!
