2001 Victory reviews

I've rode a lot of bikes in my time, but nothing handles like my Vic. Before I bought it I test rode a few newer models and nothing compared. Being that I'm 6'4", comfort for my long legs was a big issue here. The Vic fits us big guys like a glove. I would give it 10 stars if i could. Show less

I have had almost no trouble with my Deluxe Cruiser. Put 6000 miles on this past summer, will probably need tires next spring. Have broken 2 headlight mounting screws, not sure why. Would definitely recommend Victory to anyone looking for a new bike. Show less

I purchased this motorcycle new and have enjoyed my time on it. I ride as much as I can and get plenty of attention whenever I'm out on this bike. I've had the recalls done, but have personally not expierienced any problems with the bike. This bike has more than enough power, handles and brakes great for a cruiser, and sounds awesome! I plan on keeping it forever and will more than likely buy another Victory for my next ride. If you have questions, go down to the dealer and take a test ride. Show less

I purchased my Victory used. I did not want to purchase a brand new motorcycle and find out that this unheard of brand was a lemon. But to my surprise the motorcycle handles well, power is incredible, sounds great, and the ride is very comfortable. The only drawbacks to the bike have been the rear shock blew after 4000 miles, and a oil sensor went bad. My Victory dealership is awesome. They service my bike promptly and answered any questions I had. I will definitely be a Victory owner for life. I am just waiting for Victory to make a dressed up touring motorcycle so my wife and I can take very long rides in comfort and pack more than just 2 saddlebags. Show less

I owned and have ridden this bike for three years. The reason for the low miles is I had owned another one (that I used for long trips) and I crashed it last year. I rode this bike to Sturgis (635 miles) in one day last year and was more than please at its performance, handling and comfort (I've replaced the crappy stock seat with a Corbin Solo seat). It's now my only bike and I ride it everywhere. I have a performance kit on it with a megaphone muffler, and it will "rip" down the road at a brisk pace. I'm sorry that Victory quit making this model. Show less

Owning this motorcycle has been a real pleasure. The handling and performance are excellent for a big cruiser. I've experienced no mechanical failures and the bike has been thoroughly reliable! I did replace the battery when Interstate came out with a new, more powerful battery; this had nothing to do with the bike. I have owned this motorcycle two years and all indications are that I'll be riding it for a long time to come. Also, I have to say, this bike gets a lot of attention and it sounds incredible! I'm thinking I may pick up a Vick TC next. See you on the road! Show less

I purchased my V92C as a leftover one-year ago. Was looking at a variety of bikes but bought the Victory because of the factory and dealer price incentives. The few problems that I have had have been adjustments only and have been handled by my local dealer quickly. The bike has never been in the shop over night. The engine and transmission have been absolutely reliable. The bike out handles any H-D I have ever been on (or around). The part I like best is walking away from H-D's with no upgrades to my bike, and I paid way LESS!! Buy another Victory? ABSOLUTELY! May buy a V92TC in '06 and do the 4-Corner Tour. Show less

This machine has taken me from coast to coast and has made me happier than ever before. I've had problems but I still stand by it. I'm bumping 30K trouble free miles on my 2001 deluxe. The bike handles just as good, and performs better than the day I bought it new . To put my personal stamp on her, I put on a Corbin dual touring seat, Corbin hardbags, WV superchip, did the heads, installed a set of Andrews cams, and stuck on a couple of Big Willies for good measure The rest of my money I spend foolishly. If I could give this ride a 10, I would. Show less
