Bought mine used last wed., learned to ride on Saturday, and put 180 miles on it in 2 days. From limited experience (and a very sore rear end) I really like the bike. I have a 10% grade hill going up to my house, and this bike will haul major rear uphill in 5th at 45 MPH. A lot more than I was expecting from a little 650. The styling on the custom is excellent. The seat hurts wider-reared people after only 20 min. But that can be solved with a new seat.

Since I have bought the bike, I have had nothing to complain about except I do not get enough ride time in each year. SInce I bought it new, I have added a luggage rack, Various chrome pieces and a windshield bag. Yamaha's are build to last as long as you keep up on the maintenance. The dealership can help you out with that if you do not know how to do it.

Her first race was July 17, 2005 at Mt. View MX track she raced womens class against 125cc and 250cc bikes and she finished 15th out of 19 women. Not too bad I think, give her a little more time she won't have a problem whoopin a lot of them bigger bikes. This bike is easy to learn with auto 3 speed. I love that it has disk brakes(less work I have to do on bikes)the only thing I would improve on is exhaust and non slip seat, easy fixes. Other than that it is fast both for me and my husband

Bike is more than can be expected for the price. Great Handling, suspension and power. Small enough and low enough seat positioning that it can be used as a PEE WEE bike for the beginner. Minor custom additions to block the throttle off (1.13 total cost) provides any parent comfort that the speed is not an issue. Why settle for the 50cc sized Pee Wee's and have to buy a new bike after 1 year when this bike can be used up until 12 or 13 comfortably. Aftermarket parts are sold for the TT-R90 that extend the rear and also add height to the front suspension that makes this bike grow with the rider. The 4 stroke engine has been maintenance free and a good thing because the TT-R90 is not the most commonly stocked parts at your local Yamaha dealer. The PW80 and PW50 are also good bikes but not even close to the TT-R90 and priced closed to the same.

This is my first bike and I could not have asked for a better fist bike. I rode every day this summer, rain or shine, and this bike was perfect for teaching me how to ride. I have footpetals and cobra pipes and the pipes are so loud that when I ride down the street people put their fingers in their ears and it makes me feel great. The foot petals saved a whole lot of money when a dog jumped out in front of me. When I got up there was only a little dent and some scraping on the tank as the foot petals took the brunt of the slide (I got a slick paintjob out of the deal too). Shaft drive is great, bike is super slick looking and riding. The only problem in my mind is the seat, it sucks. I am ready for a larger bike possibly a BMW r1150r or a 1100 V-star Classic. I cannot say enough about how great this bike was to start out on. For a new rider these 650's are the best bike on the planet.

What first attracted me to my R1 is its beauty. After taking many years off of riding I decided I wanted to get back into it. As I looked around my local dealer's showroom floor I had many bikes to compare. My eyes focused on an R1 from across the room. It was love at first sight. It was the best looking bike I'd ever seen. Next I sat on it and noticed it's a very light bike. Not as heavy as some of the others. It was very comfortable too. I had to have it. After purchasing it I have no regrets at all. The performance is absolutely mind blowing. We're taking about a bike that is capable of raising its front wheel off the ground in 3rd gear going about 80mph or so. If you think you've gone fast, try finding the top speed of an R1. You'd be somewhere in the neighborhood of 180mph. I also ride with many others and it seems that the R1 gets the most attention whenever we're out. I hear it all the time, "Oh! An R1... nice bike man!" It seems that many people have heard about the legendary R1.

I bought a used V-Star 1100 Silverado at the end of July. I have put about 1100 miles on it so far and cannot get enough. The fat tank, low seat, and all over stance is awesome. Once I got the proper handlebar/riser configuration, the comfort level went way up (wife still complains about the stock back seat though). The baffle was punched when I bought it so the stock exhaust does have more rumble, but I will upgrade it next year. For me it has plenty of get up and go both in town and on the highway (a 6th gear would have been nice). If you have not checked out Yamaha cruisers, do it. You will not be disappointed.
