I have been doing research and research and research. For the money, there really is no other V-Twin, rather, big V-twin that one gets truly more bang for the buck. I have visited a nearby dealership, 120 miles away from the house, and what a surprise. I walked in and was instantly greeted with respect and they were willing to talk about any aspect of the 92c Deluxe for 2001. My buddy went to the dealership before I did and can you believe they gave him the keys to a 1999 v92c that belonged to the owner's son and said "take it for a spin". Now, how many Harley dealers are willing to do that. Plus, if Arlen Ness thinks enough of the Victory to buy a franchise himself, then there you go. The Victory has something there. Four Months until I will be the proud owner of a Black V92c Deluxe. Take a look, a hard look at the this bike, 92cu, stock fuel injected, how big is your Harley, a your fuel injection opted at $800. DUH!!

I own a 2000 Special Edition that is absolutely wonderful. The price was right, the look head-turning, the torque and power awe inspiring. But the handling -- wow! I have a 1970 Triumph Bonneville that handles like a dream, but this 600-pound (plus) Victory comes real close to handling as well as the Bonnie. I enjoy everything about the bike. The guys at Polaris took their time, did their homework and got it right. If you're in the market for a great cruiser that won't break the bank and you can get your hands on now, check out a Victory. You won't regret it!

I have owned my Victory for a little over a year now. I get nothing but compliments on the looks from the Harley riders I come across. They all say "Keep it in U.S.A." I really like the performance on mountain roads. I have had a few problems in the past year with leaky head gaskets. I ran in to another Victory rider in Huntington Beach Calif. When we were talking about problems, the first thing he asked me if my heads had leaked yet? I looked at him and said in a joking manner "Are they supposed to leak? Ha! Ha!He said to me something about the gasket having the wrong cut, therefore letting oil seep through at high speeds. Warranty took care of the problem. Other than that, I really like my bike. I have logged almost 12,000 miles over the past year, and still look forward to every ride like it was the first.

I have a 1999 V92C and am very pleased with its performance and looks. I have several friends with newer Harleys who have ridden the bike and comment about how much power it has and the great handling. The off-road mufflers and eprom are an absolute must and increase the grin factor enormously. The seating position is perfect but the control switches are a little awkward and could use some refinement. The bike is a little rough around the edges, but I prefer this to a slicked out bike that I can't modify. Reliability has been good with the exception of a weepy head gasket and oil-cooler, both replaced under warranty. The handling is where the bike really shines, but it needs more ground clearance as the undercarriage grinds too easily. All in all it is great bike and with more and more aftermarket parts becoming available, it will keep my wallet drained for some time to come. But hey, that's the fun of owning a big V-twin bike right? I LOVE mine. I recommend those looking at Harleys check this machine out. The $5000.00 you save can buy a lot of accessories, and you get better performance out of the box. Plus the name is just cool. Watch out Harley.
