I have tested many Race Rep 50's in the past 1 and a half yrs and i have come to the conclusion that they are the best quality race rep 50 out their. the Derbi GPR was ok but lacked power, the Cagiva Evo 50 was laim and the others lacked in every department. The RS 50 with Silkoline Pro 2 oil is best for performance and maintanence, but at a price of $50 per bottle(4 Litres) can be costly. Also you can put on the Arrows race sytem for aroud $160 or the cheaper option of the Minarelli for around $110. Both offer performance and quality, but the arrows is more glamourous. Double HH brake pads are to be avoided as they don't warm up and you could find yourself in the back of a car. don't mess with the airbox as the bike runs lean and then pop, you have no bike. All adaptions mentioned are performance parts, but will not affect reliability.

I had a staintune exhaust put on which is well made but loud. I contacted staintune and they have a quieter baffle which they are sending me. I got my corbin seat and it looks great. Its a little firm but will soften with age. I bought a 14 tooth front sprocket which helps riding off road. The bike keeps getting better and better.

I have the Pegaso 3 model for 5 years now. Bought it new and it has now 10.000 km on the clock. Never had any real serious problems with it. Just changed the reartyre at 10.000 km , the battery had to be replaced after 4 years and because of starting problems exchanged the plug myself. It runs smoothly up to approx 180 kmh on the clock (which exaggerates a lot I think). The only real complaint is the seat. After a while you really start feeling your butt. As options I have the top trunkcase which is really very handy (and stylish to) If you are not into topspeed this bike is the best to buy. Cheaper as the BMW and handles perfectly abd has great looks (allthought the new F650 isn't bad either)

The bike is absolutely flawless from fit and finish to performance. For those who want to compare the Mille R to a TL1000R, forget it the TL is a truck in comparison. I have recently added a 02 GSXR 1000 to my garage and am still happy to say the Mille remains a wonderful ride.

I've (like most of you out there) have had many types of bikes. Started riding when I was 16 which was...well many years ago. This is my favorite bike. Handling is very stable, the turn in is a little slow but if you hang off a bit it responds nicely. The engine has been very good, fast but without the high pitch and tension that goes with a motor that needs high rpm. The trans is smooth....after the motor warms up to 150+ degrees. Below that neutral is hard to find. Brakes = plenty. I enjoy it on the backroads and have been to 3 track schools (Reg Pridmores CLASS) at Grattan and Mid Ohio. Performance = you should see my smile! Reliability has been good too. The looks get attention from riders, bikers and the general public too, this is a fine looking machine. The only bad thing is the winter in Michigan makes the break too long. I'll be ready for pipes, a chip and air filter in the spring. Any suggestions from other Falco surfers? Ride quick & safe.

Got about 6.5k on the bike now. Easy to work on and used mostly as a commuter. It handles the city street better than any sportbike, more flickable, and also gets great mileage. When new, the bike was a little cold blooded but a little adjustment with the idle mixture screw and some miles on the engine to break her in a little and she hasn't given me any problems. It's a clean and proven bike in Europe and really depends on how its been prepped by the dealer. Beaudry Motorsports up in Idaho did a great job. Surprisingly haven't vibrated any parts loose or off as reported by other owners. Four stars instead of five because of some vibration. Then again it is a single but has the advantage of being simple, easy to fix, and dependable with some style points to boot. Not all Italian bikes are like that.

Mototek in Austin, has a cure, it involves some minor tweeking of the carb (call them and they will give you the settings). Once that is done, no more stalling and the bike runs great. Actually feels like a different bike. Bottom line, a fun bike that you can pick up used for cheap.

I love the rich pure pounding in your face raw torque of a good sport twin. Oh, it's like an orgasm on a bike. This bike has sport and sensibility all together. I have had a problem though. The kickstand light switch has broken. Dealer is ordering parts. Other than that the bike is perfect. I have 8200 miles of fun and planning on putting tons more. See yall

I couldn't believe it when I had my R1. I thought that bike was untouchable. Fact is, the Falco stomps the R1. Of course the R1 will whip around a track a little bit easier, but not out on the street. The V-twin is perfect. Honda and Suzuki couldn't get it right and my Ducati I had, used to stall and have constant maintenance needs. This motor is a lot more powerful than the Duck. This bike handles beautifully. It is almost like all the bikes I have owned in the past have come together to form this perfect machine. That is really why I bought it because I expected that and it is everything I expected. The power has a perfect powerband a lot more exciting than any of my Japanese bikes. The handling is spot on, the brakes are beyond all of my previous bikes (brembo Baby!) even though the Duck had them, these feel better. I gotta tell ya, I have 14,558 miles as of this past weekend. Not a single problem. I had the kickstand part replaced already. No biggie. This bike gets better and better every time I ride it. Last year I toured over to California and back up through Arizona. Very comfortable! I am planning to go East this year. haven't quite decided. Good luck out there picking a bike, I know how time consuming it all can be to say well this bike does that well and that one is great in that area. Just get a Falco. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Oh yeah, one more thing. I have had more chicks interested in this bike than any of my others (the Italians know how to make em) and ya know I'm 28, not a bad looking guy, but have a girlfriend. Too bad. Just have to go surf some Asphalt. Later!
