1999 Harley-Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide

I purchased this purple super Glide in January of 99 and now have 5000 miles on it. It runs like a scalded dog. I have no regrets. It's very easy to maintain. The only modification is the Screaming Eagle pipes and a Mustang woman hater (gunfighter)...

1999 Harley-Davidson FXDX Dyna Super Glide Sport

I was totally happy with my 89 FXRS-SP (equipped with a 96" S&S Motor). Then I saw the new FXDX. After reading the specs, and seeing the potential of the new Twin Cam, I bought one. I have been smiling ever since. Out of the show room it's a better bike. It feels more nimble on the back roads and...

I was totally happy with my 89 FXRS-SP (equipped with a 96" S&S Motor). Then I saw the new FXDX. After reading the specs, and seeing the potential of the new Twin Cam, I bought one. I have been smiling ever since. Out of the show room it's a better bike. It feels more nimble on the back roads and the new motor beats the EVO in every respect. It has more torque, higher revving and a lot less mechanical clatter. Now, with some help from the Screaming Eagle Catalog and R&R racing the 95" motor, it's more than a match for my old ride. It's a pleasure riding a Harley that's not running out of breath at 5000 RPM. The only down side in the last 8500 miles has been a defective speedometer and a faulty starter drive, both of which were cheerfully replaced by my dealer.

1999 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King

I picked up my '99 FLHR on Jan. 26th of 1999. I have 28,600 miles at this time. I have not had a single problem with the bike. It has performed very well for me. It has impressed some of the Gold Wing crowd I know. I highly recommend the detachable series of accessories. They add a lot of...

It has impressed some of the Gold Wing crowd I know. I highly recommend the detachable series of accessories. They add a lot of versatility to the bike. I would recommend this bike to anyone who is serious about getting past the edge of town and knocking down some serious miles. An added bonus, when I stop for gas or food it's the bike that draws the crowd.

1999 Harley-Davidson FXR2

The FXR2 is very powerful and smooth riding bike. It handles like a smaller model when you are riding turns and maneuvering and rides like a big bike when on the road. At 80 mph or higher you feel no vibration at all mostly due to the rubber mounted engine. This bike is no doubt the finest ride I...

At 80 mph or higher you feel no vibration at all mostly due to the rubber mounted engine. This bike is no doubt the finest ride I have ever had and I thoroughly enjoy riding this bike every chance I get. I am very lucky to be one of the 900 people in the world that has had an opportunity to enjoy this ride.

1999 Harley-Davidson XL 1200S Sportster 1200 Sport

3.0
Over the past 29 years I've owned 17 bikes from many different manufactures. But my 99 Sporty Sport is by far my favorite. It is probably the first "keeper" I've ever had. Other bikes? Some includes: Valkyrie, ST 1100, GXR-1100, CBR1000, BMW GSPD, XR 500, XL 500, and several other Harleys. ...

Some includes: Valkyrie, ST 1100, GXR-1100, CBR1000, BMW GSPD, XR 500, XL 500, and several other Harleys. Changes: Stage 1 kit, ignition changes, grips, footpegs, different rear tire (stock rear gone in 2500 miles!) carb mods, slip-on mufflers, and more. I had it tuned on a dyno. It showed 71 hp and 72 ft/lbs. Now it makes a fine hooligan bike. Brakes are absolutely first class. Handling below 90 mph is first rate with the adjustable shocks stiffened a lot. I love this bike.
