Very easy to ride, engineering and worthy from Honda is 2nd to none. Powerful, and that SOUND of the 6x6 exhaust, crazy. It is a Porche big block motor so it sits wide in front of you, but the looks and feedback from the sound is incredible. Good reliable motorcycle. Last 300,00 miles. They are carbureted so they need tune ups. They are quick on take off and are fairly quiet . They have cab radios and am/ fm cassette players . The SE comes with air shocks and an on board compressor. It also has reverse. Show less

I am 71 years old with a bad knee from a previous collision with a drunk driver, I'm looking for a bike as my final bike to carry me to the point I can no longer ride, I've owned 35 different bikes in the last 55 years all brands and types, there are advantages and disadvantaged to cruiser sitting position but the bike is fairly comfortable, there's another bike I'm looking at the NT700 but I think the ACE is the one it's lighter than a Harley has plenty of power I've run this thing to 110 mph most evo Harleys won't do that, plenty of luggage space, it handles great and is STABLE in turns like it's on rails, if you like rumbling exhaust of a 45 degree twin you might be disappointed because it's quiet, other than that I love this bike it's bullet proof, reliable old school no gas gauge,, those that say it needs more power I disagree plenty of power love the bike. I am an old Harley guy, until l picked up Valkyrie, what a bike. Yes best bike ever built.. the power, smooth ride, beautiful machine. I have owned around 10 Valkyries. My last one was a Marron and cream.broke my heart to see her go. I am 70 now and not as strong as I used to be.ride free and safe Valkyrie riders, enjoy the best bike ever. 500k miles is not unusual.. Show less

Beautiful Harley tribute bike. Sounds and shakes exactly like one. Very smooth ride. Not much power due to single crankpin engine layout necessary to produce that gorgeous sound. Also needs power commander aftermarket ignition module to kick up the power a little. Helps a lot. Overall very dependable, comfortable, handles well, sounds great and it's a Honda. Great bike Harley got to heavy for me, this thing has about the same performance and speed of an Evo Harley but 150 lbs lighter, feels like a Bob sled in the curves handles great seen 150,000 mileage examples love simplicity, no computer ABS, just change oil and ride, Show less

I love my 98. Owned for 2 years now. Put 11,000 miles. Has 30,000 miles total. Gas, oil and tires thats it. I love that no valve maintenance is required. Very low cost of ownership. I see no reason that this bike wont hit 100,000 miles. Though not a full touring bagger, its intermediate nature suites my (1up) just fine. Im 65 and this bike hustles enough to satisfy my urges when needed. The motor revs out pretty good when required, no short shifting needed. I do agree up to 70 mph is the sweet and that fine by me. Its all about taking in the sites these days and not the old, how fast can i get there. I have yet to scrape pegs but it can handle a aggressive corner carving ride. I have no problem keeping up with sports bikes riding atcs good clip. Have amazed a few of them. Harleys not an even issue. Still good low mileage bike are out but I wouldnt hesitate if you found one with 50,000 miles on it. As they say, this Honda was built to last. Buy 1 Show less

I brought a Honda Shadow VT1100 98. Great condition but would not have know that it is a 98 and great ride. The lady has after market pipes with great lines on the back side. Nice curves that brings much joy to a nice wind in the scalp, lol. A lot of people notice me when I come and leave their eye sight. After ten years and over 44 thousand miles, I can say that Honda never made a better, more beautiful, more dependable cruiser. It still turns heads wherever I go. 46 miles per gallon at speeds within the speed limit. Pulls away from bikes with larger engines. Too bad they quit making this model at 1100 cc. Show less

Had a water leak at 9000 miles, have had no other trouble at all just back from a 1200 mile week end and bike ralley had to replace the fork seals, turn ups tires, oil changes. Average 40MPG at 65-70mph on the interstate & on the back roads I get about the same around town. Show less
