I could not ask for more from a motorcycle. the handling on the twisties for a cruiser is phenomenal. i did alot of research to find that chrome accessories from other honda bikes would fit the spirit. people just stare at the bike. will never see a bike for this price that rides and looks so good, and never a mechanical problem.

The VFR800FI is a real headturner, that has one of the best saddles (including the passenger) in the industry, a fully adjustable Showa suspension, decent wind protection (I'm 6'2" 210lbs), a bulletproof V-4 with flawless fuel-injection mapping and that distinctive wonderful cam-driven gear whine that pulls very strong from 3,000 to it's 12,000 red-line. Add in the predictable, powerful linked-braking-system (that has saved my ass more times than I care to admit), and you've got one of the best sport bikes ever built! Oh yeah, and you can ride 500-mile days without requiring a trip to your friendly chiropractor at the end of the day. So...what more could you ask for?

I have never been so in love with anything that wasn't a woman before. What a great bike. It's no Huyabusa, but more than makes up for it in the comfort, handling, and braking departments. Looks great too. Had mine painted yellow. If you don't like linked brakes, you've obviously never tried them... read more

Downers: It isn't the "Super" Hawk we all hoped for when Honda discontinued the original baby V-twin sportbike. Handling feels heavy (a 600 it ain't). won't throttle wheelie as advertised. Short range. Mirrors ('nuff said). Front brake lever pinches fingers against grip (can't correct). Mediocre suspension. UPs: WILL throttle wheelie if you work at it a little. Handles extremely well if you set up your entries correctly. Can't be beat for grins at the exits. AWESOME top speed for a twin (155mph indicated). GREAT for Saturday night at the Sonic drive-in. ("Wow, what's that?) Acceleration? No one's touched me up to 130mph, espec the TL1000 with aftermarket cans and mappable iginition. (Grin) Summary: Needs aftermarket exhaust cans, K&N intake kit and a Jet kit; a Corbin seat; a few more teeth on the rear sprocket; MAYBE some adjustable clip-ons. Thumbs down to Honda. The RC51 is a dirty trick to sqeeze more money out of the buyers. This is one of the best bikes I have ever ridden. Honda could have gotten everything right the first time without telling us "oh, by the way, the RC51 is what we decided the SuperHawk should have been when we decided to take it racing." Worst Feature: I'm stuck with the best back-road twisties-eater I've ever owned...... in Kansas! Someday I'll see the Santa Cruz moutains again. Feel free to email w/responses or suggestions.

Since May of last year I have logged around 15,000 miles just riding around Florida and haven't had any problems. The rear brake disc is worn out and will need to be replaced with the next set of pads. Normal maintenence. It is still the best bike I have ever owned. RIDE SAFE&SOBER SONNY MARTIN

Well I disagree my F3 has a stock motor runs 10.80's in the Quarter mile. My bike has gone 0 to 60 feet in 1.5 seconds. It will run the 1/8 mile in 6.71 seconds. All the upgrades are easy.
