This is my second season with my F3. It's a very forgiving machine that will let a new rider get his/her feet wet without any nasty surprises. I added a Two Brothers pipe and had mine jetted and it will run with the newer 6's and even some 750's. Plus the F3 doesn't show it's age like a lot of the other manufacturer's bikes do...people always ask me what year my bike is, because it looks new. One thing: if you are looking at any bike made by any manufacturer in the '97-'98 age range, check if you know how, or have checked by someone who does, a few things: the fork seals and the brake rotors. At the age/mileage that these bikes are at, those parts might be bad or going bad, and they are a pretty costly fix! Ride safe and ride smart everyone!

It is equipped with a Kenwood AM/FM radio, J&M Intercom which is still working as well as when installed 12 years ago, taller Rifle Windshield, Bra, 45 Liter Givi Topcase, and a 22 Liter Eclipse tank bag. This is an excellent bike that should have been continued. I have 56,000 miles on this bike and have had minimal problems. It also gets about 42-45 MPG. Can anyone answer why Honda would discontinue such a machine?

I can get a load of groceries and a gallon of milk and still have room left over. It is plenty powerful and quiet. Smooth as silk and quiet at 75mph. Hydraulic clutch is super. I cannot say enough about this comfortable, low maintenance, easy to ride bike. Mine does have a necessary taller Rifle aftermarket windshield.

I have 32000 km at the clock and no single problem or malfunction (knock on the wood). Aftermarket suggests bunch of accessories to customize the bike. Drawbacks: I'd like bigger tank (but Interstate has one), fuel gauge, better backlights, more comfortable seat, hmm... not much to add. Make a test-drive and you won't be back to any other bike.

Then one day it started acting like it was a Harley. Leaking oil...Fixed under my warranty and I was happy again...The only gripe I had? The battery. With the unique T shape it seems to fail alot...I sold her a few months ago and just got one of those BEEEEEEUTIFUL Indian Chiefs...But I would recommend the ACE to anyone...Just keep ahead of the battery situation...It's too bad they discontinued the ACE model...
