I've ridden since I was 5. Mostly big bore 4-strokes. I bought this bike because I wanted something I could throw around, something a little lighter than a 4-stroke. I was surprised how much power came out of this bike. It's fast, good suspension to. It's a little harder to ride because of the engine but funner on the jumps. Good bike, great price.

I purchased my 1987 YZ250T new in '87 from Pate's Yamaha in Chattanooga,TN. I raced for two years. I still trail ride almost every weekend with new bikes and still they can't hang with the awsome 250. This is one tough bike, never been bored or the had the cases split. With only a top end job about every other year, it can't be beat.
