I mounted full knobbies on it with a larger rear sprocket and rode it everywhere in the woods. You had to rev the poo out of it but if you did it would go anywhere. Small, light, very flickable and never let me down. I put 6,000 hard dirt miles on it then sold it for $500 to a kid who still uses it for a paper route. Fun little bike and indestructable.

Low-speed riding, especially two up, can be a challenge due to the weight and rubber mounted steering (slight rowing motion). The storage space is more than you need. Overall looks and feels great. Issues: 1) Not to many after-market parts as there are not to many Cavalcades out there 2) Auto level has been a problem 3) Weight is on the high side Pluses 1) Unbelievable ride especially for the passenger 2) Unique bike due to rarity

I purchased this bike from my mechanic after a minor accident by original owner. Minor damage, plastic and scrapes but all easily repairable.

Very responsive, stable ride on street or highway rides. Wide windscreen protection shields rider on fast highway riding. After market side mirrors more useful for seeing behind objects. Throttle response is very raw - twist and it will respond with authority. Roll-on isn't as responsive but my bike needs to have the pipe changed to a V&H Supersport (perfect pipe for this bike) and re-tuned. I'm 5'7"-190lbs, comfortable riding position - tight racing position, better suited for average height riders. Long hauls can be taxing on the arms/body because of handle bar lean-tight racing seating position.
Many upgrades available and definitely a must have bike - CLASSIC monster.
