You are going to absolutely LOVE THIS BIKE no matter where you ride - by the ocean, under the canopy lined streets, the highway or around town! I used to own this same motorcycle in 1980 and liked it so much, I bought another one. Very well made, reliable, inexpensive for the shop to do the yearly maintenance. It is big enough for the highway and yet sill maneuverable in the parking lot. This is the perfect size. I used to put my g/f on the back and ride all over and she was comfortable too. I n 1985, I bought a Honda 650 Nighthawk and it was too little and too light for the highway. I will miss it but I do not ride anymore though I do start it up every week and listen to it purr. It has comfortable seats and only 9500 miles. The shop went over everything last year and did whatever it needed. Put on new tires, new battery, new plugs, etc. I wanted it to be in tip top shape. Maybe I put on 100 - 150 miles since then. You will love it too. It shines and I get compliments on it, just like you will and it will make you SMILE!

This bike is absolutely amazing. Can you believe the mileage?! It still doesn't burn oil and gets 45 mpg average. I don't know the complete history of the bike. This bike is absolutely amazing. Can you believe the mileage?! It still doesn't burn oil and gets 45 mpg average. I don't know the complete history of the bike. The dealer I purchased it from claims it was a one owner bike. (Yeah, right, with this mileage?) I never pursued the history because the bike has been nearly flawless. I average about 5000 miles per year and find the bike a blast to ride.
I could use a more comfortable seat and a rear shock upgrade for comfort, but, I probably won't trade this machine for anything soon. They just don't make anything that appeals to me more than this bike. I've had a love affair with the Honda CB750 since 1969.

My CB750 is the Nighthawk version.I went 200mi.to buy it because it was the only bike I could afford that had good body lines,& I was told to stick with inline 4's for long longevity.I love the pull from 6,000 to 9,000.I put lower, dirt bike style bars on it to stretch out my 54yr.old back. The sit...

It had 10,300,now has 12,800 miles & does use a Qt.every 500 mi.I'll gladly add that for the fun, that inline 4 gave me howling out of those 35MPH curves in the Black Hills. That big TOPHEAVY,Tire Sliding BEAST, was a RIOT in those beautiful canyons.Trailering to Arkansas in several weeks for my final fling with my curvatious gal. !!

My husband rides his Silverwing when we ride together (he also has a Goldwing). I have put 2000 miles on mine since last of August. Took the MSF course, they suggest getting used 500-600 cc bike to start out on. I don't know if I will give this one up. Even if I get something a litter bigger (800 cc) later, I'll probably keep this one. Everywhere we go people think it's a bigger displacement and are surprised when we tell them it's 500 cc. We take overnight trips on them and I drive mine around town. We've had no problems with them even though one non-Honda dealer tried to discourage our purchase of them stating they tend to run hot(?)

Sold it in 1994 with 68000 miles on it... due to temp financial problems.. Was fantastic bike then.. with major regrets in selling it.. And then.. Bought it back 4 weeks ago.. was as if in a time capsule.. only 4K miles added.. must have been in storage.. drained old fuel replaced all fluids replaced battery.. Still working on rebuilding a rear brake caliper.. and then back on the road.. Makes excellent power.. big enough for serious touring.. and handles fantastic.. S

In 1985 as I was riding by Yamaha 750 Virago in Albany, NY, I saw a guy on a 1982 CB900C and I said to myself "that's a nice looking bike". Ten years later, after putting to sleep my Virago, I found an 82 CB900C with only 10,000 miles on it which I bought for chump change. The bike is great...

Ten years later, after putting to sleep my Virago, I found an 82 CB900C with only 10,000 miles on it which I bought for chump change. The bike is great for just tooling around on, or, as I do every year, throw on my soft bags and take off for 4 or 5 days camping with the boys. The bike is great off the line and quite up to doing the 300 or so miles of back roads riding a day that we do in comfort and style. My problem? I have been saving up for a new bike but what can replace this wonderful machine?
