I have owned a 2017 Yamaha scr950 for over two years and it's has been an exceptional motorcycle. I have used it to go back and forth to work and it does a good job in all weather conditions and good on gas mileage at 51 miles average a gallon. No complaints here I would own another one just like it if I decided to. Very low maintenance on this bike. I have $24,000 miles so far and still going strong Show less

I have owned 2 bikes before the FZ1; the '07 Kawi z750s, and the 03 Kawi ZZR1200. This is by far the most fun and comfortable bike I've ever owned. Super light and nimble feeling. It has enough power to bring the front end up with no problem, yet smooth enough throttle where it never happens by accident. Never ran too hot, as apposed to both of my Kawis that would cook my legs. The main complaint is that there isn't enough aftermarket support for the naked bikes as apposed to the sport bikes. Nonetheless, the FZ/MT line of bikes are a great choice! Show less

This is my 3rd FJR. Had an 1100, 1200 and now 1300. Love the adjusable wind screen. The original saddle was too rigid for me so I bought a Sargents saddle . $750ish. Also handlebars were a reach, so I sprung for a riser kit that raised the bars 1 1/4 " and pulled it back 2". $300 well spent. Good purchase, no regrets. Show less

Beautiful bike handles wonderful I’ve loved Yamaha from the beginning so I finally bought one. I bought this bike brand new and it has just been a great bike to ride. The only beef I have with it is that it is sometimes uncomfortable on long haul you’re in an extremely forward café position. It’s aggressive position to ride in. Great for the track but not the most comfortable for long holes. Performance is excellent qualities excellent reliabilities is excellent. Never had a mechanical issue at all starts every time bike took good care of me I owned it for 10 years, I would definitely buy Yamaha again Show less

One of the finest motorcycle engines ever designed-comparable to the automobile's Ford 289 and Chevy 350-long lasting and dependable with little need other than regular servicing. If you can find find one that was cared for and properly maintained, you'll have have found a machine that will out-last YOU. :) Show less

I AM 75 AND BEEN RIDING SINCE I WAS 16 AND HAVE OWENED APPROX 19 BIKES, BRITISH AMERICAN JAPENESE AND ITALIAN. I JUST TRADED IN A HARLEY ULTRA CLASSIC FOR THIS STRATOLIA AND AM BLOWN AWAY. COMFORTABLE, CONTROLABLE, AND GOES LIKE S-----T. FAR AND AWAY ONE OF THE TOP TWO BIKES IVE OWNED THE OTHER BEING A GOLD WING. CONS. NOISY ENGINE AND HEADLIGHT SHAPE. NEVER UNDERSTOOD THE HARLEY THING WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER MUCH MUCH BETTER BIKES OUT THERE SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE. Show less

Fast, smooth, and looks great. Very fun to ride. It is a head turner with added sissy bars make passengers very happy. Yamaha v stars are great looking bikes. I am pleased with it and will always recommend them Show less

I have owned several R1s over the last 20 years. I find the performance and reliability outstanding. Speed and responsiveness excellent. Lower maintenance costs than BMWs although the SS1000 is a killer bike. Not designed for long road trips but for sheer power/ acceleration a fantastic choice. Show less
